I can remember when 8 Simple Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter first came on the air. I would watch this show all the time. Who doesn’t love John Ritter and all of the cast that was on the first season? I still love this show!
I am very excited to let you all know that season two is now available on a 3 disk DVD set.
DVD SRP: $29.98 (3-disc set)
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Emmy® winner John Ritter (TV’s “Three’s Company”) and four-time Golden Globe® nominee Katey Sagal (TV’s “Married with Children”) star as frazzled parents trying to raise three teenagers in the hilarious television comedy “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter.” Re-live the laughs with all 24 episodes from the hit show’s second season, which originally aired during the 2003-2004 television season on ABC, on DVD. During its three year run, the show received an Emmy® (Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series) and a People’s Choice Award (Favorite New TV Comedy Series). 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter: Season Two 3-disc set hits store shelves on May 19, 2009 for the suggested retail price of $29.98.
In this upbeat family comedy, Paul Hennessy (Ritter) is a sports writer who is prompted by his wife Cate’s (Sagal) return to nursing to take a more active role in raising their two teenage daughters, Bridget (Kaley Cuoco, TV’s “The Big Bang Theory”), and Kerry (Amy Davidson, TV’s “CSI: NY”), and their son Rory (Martin Spanjers, HBO’s “True Blood”). He is soon overwhelmed by his at-home responsibilities and misses being a sports writer. Paul begins writing a column about his struggles with his children and offers advice to people who are in his same position. His teenage daughters are dating, which sparks the use of the “8 simple rules for dating my teenage daughter.”
The teenage daughters give their dad grief just like I used to do when I was a teenager. What teen didn’t?

It is a great show and lots of good advice. My favorite character was John Ritter.
I haven’t seen it yet but I’d like to
I really like David Spade.
I really liked the younger daughter carrie’s character. In a way it reminded me of how Darlene and Becky got along on Roseanne.
This show was well done. Kaley Cuoco is a great actress and does really well on Big Bang Theory. I did like the show much more before they brought on David spade though.

My favorite episode was when Rich Cronin did a guest spot on the show. My favorite character was John Ritter and it was very sad he died during this series. It was hard to watch the show without him because the show was based around him.
really liked john ritter on this show
John Ritter was the best.
thank you for the great giveaway
I loved to watch this show and John Ritter was definitely my favorite on the show.
I really enjoy this show. I miss John Ritter, though.
I absolutely LOVE this show. I think by far the best and most heartbreaking episode is when John Ritter died and they go through the grieving process on the show. Knowing that the actor himself passed away and these people were truly crying and upset was so terrible to see, but so touching. I love everyone on this show, and it was one of the few shows I could watch with the whole family. Thanks for the giveaway!
wow, great contest
