Summer has arrived at our house. Well, summer vacation for hubby has, anyway, so with this said, we are over here working on some travel thoughts. We would love to start a family tradition and go somewhere each year with the kids. One place that I have really wanted to go to is Sea World and Busch Gardens. I have had so many fun things about these places!
Each summer, Busch Gardens holds Adventure Camps at their Sea World and Busch Gardens facilities, which are attended by teens from all over the county. For some participants, the camp experience goes beyond just a great memory, becoming the inspiration for lifelong appreciation for wildlife, or maybe even a career in animal science. In fact, more than 150 former campers are now employed in the zoological departments at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens!
For those interested in attending camp this summer, Busch Gardens has released a series of videos in which trainers who got their start at Adventure Camp share their experiences and tips for working with animals.
Additionally, we’ve teamed up with Busch Gardens to offer a giveaway – one lucky winner will receive a prize pack filled with plush animals, a t-shirt, stickers, notebooks, and more!
This year is the year to start those family tradition vacations!

Well, looks like this summer we will be doing one of two things.. either visiting g-grandpa who isn’t doing well at all or staying here because lil kiwi just had surgery and we can’t go anywhere… normally we do the zoo and other museums or take a travel to visit family…

For our summer vacation we will be swimming in our inground pool and enjoying our 5 acres in upstate New York with the loveliest view of Greene, NY. My 4 kids, ages 3, 6, 10, and 15 love being outdoors. We love going into NYC as often as we can for Central Park too!!!!! Blessings!!!

I love to spend quality time with my children and I really enjoy my school-aged son’s time off! We’d love to take a trip to a fun amusement park…Busch Gardens sounds great! It is sometimes hard to find somewhere that everyone in our group will enjoy, from teens to young toddlers…but Busch Gardens sounds like it would be fun for all of us! I’m going to have to look into it!

This summer, we’ll be taking a couple of mini-weekend vacations instead of one big one. My 5 year old son LOVES staying in hotels, so we hope to find some great deals here in Florida. We are Sea World passholders, so we’ll also be visiting Shamu & Friends – can’t wait to try out the new MANTA ride!

We are going to spend our summer vacation, by relaxing, swimming, bike riding and taking day trips close to home.
We had to cancel our trip to France because of finances so a trip away would be wonderful. But we’ll enjoy local trips to the zoo, pool, parks etc. either way.
