Amazing campaign from Alcon! #EyeSawGood #MC

I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Alcon. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating

Ever since I was 8 years old, I have always had eye problems. I got glasses when I was in the second grade, contacts when I was 15 and LASIK when I was 30. I’ve had eye issues for as long as I can remember, but we couldn’t afford yearly exams. These yearly exams are crucial for everyone and when you can’t afford them, it makes it hard on everyone. I have had more eye infections… too many to count. In fact, in this photo while I was at work in 2002, I had an eye infection so I wasn’t able to wear my contacts.

I am so happy to see Alcon’s campaign The Eye Solution; #EyeSawGood that is helping to inspires people to help provide proper eye care for children in need across the US. It’s concept is simple: see good, share good, and make good happen. For every #EyeSawGood picture shared on Twitter, Alcon will donate $1, up to $50,000, which will fund more than 1,000 eye exams and eyeglasses for children in need.

Giving back to our community makes me feel so good. It’s doing good for others and it’s teaching my kids that doing good for others also makes a difference. What makes you feel good? Holding loves one’s hands makes me feel good.
