I have to say that I am PROUD to be a cloth diapering mama. When I first read about the whole ‘craze’, I thought to myself ‘Uh.. What? Why would anyone want to cloth diaper?’ Well, guess what? I have been cloth diapering for not quite a year, but I adore Kambry’s cloth diapers. Not only are we saving money, she looks simply adorable in her cloth diapers!
I found a company called Bummis and they have adorable (and I say this lightly!) cloth diapers and needs for cloth diapering.
One that we were able to check out is called the Bamboozle. How cute is this?
A fitted diaper consisting of 4 layers of bamboo fabric that is fantastically soft and beautiful! You will fall in love with this gorgeous, silky fabric – it truly is irresistible!
I LOVE how soft this is and I love how it looks on Kambry. Sleek, sweet and adorable as can be!
Special features of the Bamboozle:
- Easy to adjust snap closures
- Sewn in adjustable doubler for extra absorbance
- Two sizes only will take you from premature (5 lbs) right through to potty training (35 lbs).
Another product that I was able to check out was the Super Brite. I wasn’t sure what to do with this, as most of our diapering that I do is AIO (All in One) diapers. I love to use this one at night, when Kambry is more likely to wet through her cloth. This is great, I have to say! Love it!
The SUPER BRITE is lightweight and waterproof. It consists of one single layer of polyester with a wipe-clean laminated interior. This is a fabric made especially for us – by our own local suppliers. Not only is it a fabric of amazing quality, but you can be 100% certain that it adheres as well to stringent environmental and toxicity standards. Cut and sewn in our own factory in Montreal so that we are assured of good quality and fair labour practices.

SMALL: 3.5-7 kg (8-16 lbs)
MEDIUM: 7-14 kg (15-30 lbs)
LARGE: 12-16 kg (27-36 lbs)
X-LARGE: 14.5+ kg (32+ lbs)
With Summer peeking around the corner and with our travels, come swimming. When we traveled recently, I was able to use a Swimmi. Why spend tons of money on disposable water diapers, when you can buy one and use it as often as you need? I love the Swimmi and love that I don’t have to buy an entire pack of throw away’s. my cd tips: wash in reg. tide- we have tried EVERYTHING and that works best. use cloth wipes- makes things so so so much easier. wetbags are a must- i have around 4 sizes of them for different needs. my best advise- get one size in GN colors and enough for 2-3 days worth– great for multiple children and will last thru all your kiddos!!

my tip for pockets stuff as soon as they are dry! Also make a schedule & keep to it! It will save you time & money (scheduling helps with not forgetting about the diaps lol) sunning out diapers AND inserts will keep the stains away! Its true!

I don’t have any cloth tips b/c I didnt with my 20 month old but I am going to with this baby. BUT I know it would save money AND the environment and its just as easy as disposable. And I would love the swimmi for my son now and then use it with my daughter later!
