Looking for a pet? Adopt a cat! (Adoption & Donation Info)

I write a lot about my cat, Milano. I love her!

kittiesIt all started about 6 months after we relocated and I became a stay at home mother. I love staying home, but I felt that I needed something else. I was longing for something – but what? I talked it over with hubby and I decided that I really wanted to have a cat in our home. I had a friend read my blog and she gave me the best Christmas gift that I could have asked for. She got in contact with two amazing ladies, Judith & Wendy, who runs their homes and takes in cats/kittens in to their homes, feeds them, takes care of them, gets the cats fixed, gets the vaccinations up to date and then turns around to hopefully find the kitties a home.

Recently, there were 11 cats that were abandonded in a barn and I am branching out to see if I can help Judith & Wendy find homes that are in the Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin area that are looking to adopt a cat, or more.

Oh my gosh – these ladies have amazing hearts!! These gals take in these cats from all over. Milano came from Chicago and I am so lucky to have gotten her in my home! Judith & Wendy are also looking to help an elderly lady that has about a dozen cats, and the lady is getting too old to take care of the kitties anymore.

How are the cats cared for? Judith & Wendy pay for the cat’s to be cared for that she takes in, she pays to have the cats fixed, she pays for the cats to be fed and she goes beyond her call of duty to get these cats safe and in the homes of owners that will love them for all the love that cats are capable of.

If you are looking to adopt a cat, and you are in the Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin area, please consider seeing Judith and Wendy! I can put you in touch with them ASAP. They are available via phone, email, Facebook – you name it. To give you an idea of where some of these cats are at, they reside is in Galena, IL. Some of the cats are in Mt. Carroll, and the others are in Lancaster, Wisconsin. Transportation will be available to meet or to deliver a cat, or cats!, to a loving home. There are an estimated number of 40 cats that are seeking homes.

If you are not able to adopt, I am asking for help for Judith and her shelter to raise money for them to pay for food for the cats that they are taking in until they can be spayed, neutered, vaccinated and adopted. If you are able, any amount (small or large) is welcomed. 100% of donations will be going to help Judith and the cats in her shelter.

I am starting the donations today with $50.00 from myself and my family. Please help, if you can! All you have to do is click on the donate button below and you will be taken to a safe & secure check out for donations.Every penny helps!

Thank you and God Bless!
