Infiniti Pro by Conair *Review & #Giveaway!* (Closed)

My hair may be short, but I still wash, blow dry and style it just like any other gal out there. I have had a small and very ancient hair dryer for several years. With as short as my hair is, you would think it would take no time to get it washed, dried and styled, right? Wrong. With my old hair dryer, it would take longer to dry than it would than when it was longer. I was given a chance to try out a new hair dryer that has since changed my perception about getting ready.

MG Details

Are you ready to take back the power? Say goodbye to your hair Pro and hello to ours…the new Infiniti Pro by Conair™ 1875-Watt Salon-Performance AC Motor Styling Tool puts salon-performance power in the palm of your hand! The Infiniti Pro utilizes an AC (alternating current) motor, which is the high-performance motor typically designed for hair stylists and salon use. However this professional performance tool is 15 percent lighter than most AC motor dryers, making it easy to harness salon power at home.

What’s the significance of an AC motor? Here’s why “AC” = “A+!”

  • Quiet, yet powerful air velocity to dry hair faster and lessen heat exposure/damage
  • A true blast of cold air when “Cold Shot” button is engaged, to better set your style or provide lift at the roots
  • Up to a 3x longer life span as compared to typical (DC motor) hair dryers!

In addition to the AC motor benefits the Infiniti Pro dryer also generates neutralizing ions to seal the hair cuticle, reducing frizz and enhancing shine. It also features 3 heat/2 speed rocker switches for heat and airflow control along with 2 concentrator attachments to achieve a variety of styles. A removable filter prevents damaging lint buildup and further extends the motor life.

MG thoughts

Since I’ve been using the Infiniti Pro by Conair, it takes almost no time for me to get ready now. My old blow dryer had 2 settings: on and off. There wasn’t a high or a low setting, nor was there a temperature setting that allowed hot, warm or cool. I have been able to blow dry my hair so much faster and I like knowing that I don’t have to burn my scalp when I get ready. Overall, I love everything about the Infiniti Pro by Conair. The color is fun, the settings are powerful, yet not too much, and I love that there are 2 attachments that you can add to the end of the dryer.

All in all, I love this hair dryer! The price is very nice at just under $40, it’s not a bulky dryer and it also has a hook on the handle where you can hang for easy storage.

I usually try to keep my hair cut really short so that all I have to do is wash it, toss in some gel, make it look sorta messy, and call it a hairstyle. That usually works and I like the look. I have however, found it more and more difficult to make time for a haircut and affording one is virtually impossible with two toddlers and a newborn to provide for. Their needs come first and there usually isn’t anything left when all of that is taken care of. So I have found that my hair is now requiring that every morning routine of being blown dry and styled. I shudder when I think about it but it has to be done. I shudder even more when I think about what happened yesterday morning. I had gotten the boys ready for Church and was taking a quick 10 minutes to get myself ready so we wouldn’t be late when the worst happened. I was using the high setting on my hair dryer in order to get the hair dry quicker so we would be on time when I heard a “POP” and “BAM” my dryer DIED! Gone … dead … finished … as in toss it away you can’t use it anymore dead! Since I can’t afford a haircut buy a dryer is totally out of the question. At this point I’m only hoping that Santa will bring me one? I can live shaggy till then? Maybe?
Needless to say with my dead dryer and longer hair I could definitely use the Infinity Pro
