A couple of weeks ago, my family had another yummy opportunity to go visit Denny’s to check out their new Holiday Menu. I was sad that the location we went to only had a couple of things to offer. We tried and love the new Peppermint Pancake Puppies.
These are basically a hush puppy made from pancake batter with peppermint white chocolate sprinkles inside each one and it is served with a side of syrup to dip them in. These were so yummy!!!
I was in the holiday spirit when we were at Denny’s, so I thought we would all try something different. Usually we all have breakfast (we are breakfast nuts!), so I decided to try a Turkey plate. It was great! Better than I expected!
Did you know that with the purchase of an adult’s meal, you get a kids’ meal for free after 4pm? This is such a great deal, especially for those on a budget, which I think just about all of us are. So, the kids were able to have their chocolate chip pancake kids meals and they were free! Even if we were to pay for the kids’ meals, they are very reasonably priced, more so than I have seen at other places. Personally, I love that Denny’s has a ‘Better for you’ menu option. We don’t buy a whole lot of snacks in the house and when we go out to eat, we like options for the kids. Another thing that Tucker ordered while we were at Denny’s was a side of Apple Slices with caramel dipping sauce. I had to sneak one in too. Great addition to the kids menu!
Don’t want to cook this holiday? You don’t have to! While we were at Denny’s, I was told that you can go in to Denny’s and have your holiday meal there, as well as they offer pies in slices and whole! I had a slice and oh.my.gosh! I am a sucker for pecan pie! I guess that’s the south coming out in me, but this pie was amazing!
