I had a lot of fun this past week making some colorful DIY crafts for our table centerpiece out of spray paint and empty bottles. I used wine bottles from our housewarming party, but you can use pretty much any type of tall bottle that you’d like. I’ll have a few posts and one to recap, but I wanted to share my creations.
Candy Corn Fall Centerpiece
- Start with bottles of any kind. I chose wine bottles.
- Some, we drank…
- ok, 3 we drank.
- Fine. They were yummy.
Now that they’re cleaned off and dry, you’re ready to get started. I went to Lowe’s and bought orange, yellow and white spray paint. These were just under $4 a piece.
Make sure you have an open spot to spray paint your bottles and spray the majority of them white. You’ll see why in the next pic.
Don’t worry about being perfect. Seriously, this is probably the one craft that literally anyone can do.
It’s pretty easy…
- Spray most of it white.
- Grab the orange.
- Spray orange around the middle.
- Grab the yellow.
- Spray yellow around the bottom.
- Sit on the pavement.
- Let dry.
- Poof – you’re done.
Once they’re dry, you can arrange however you’d like. Here’s my set up.
I’m working on a few posts, and all will be compiled in to one, however I thought I’d share this one now.
I am working with Lowe’s on these projects, so be sure to stay tuned for the next one!
