CardScan could help me save time because it’s portable. I could take it everywhere.

5 Brian E. July 18, 2009 at 11:34 pm

Thanks for the giveaway…when it comes to “collecting” business crds I am the worst; I have tried various schemes to sort & catalog them but some weeks I can get literally 60-100 of them. I used a binder especially designed for business cards for several years but an office fire destroyed them at one point; now I create a physical Rolodex card with the information and I back that up with a computer file that just contains name/phone numbers.

The CardScan Executive for Mac and it’s accompanying software, CardScan At Your Service, look to be a rational solution for this disorganized aspect of my life…no more keying in business card contact info manually !!!

16 Mollie G. July 18, 2009 at 11:04 am

Sounds like this puts the random-access “Search” back into your “Rolodex” functions… Get enough PAPER business cards and you suddenly have a weekly chore of sorting and weeding in order to be able to FIND anything.

The CardScan can help save both myself and my husband so much time! Right now we have a mountain of important business cards for both our ordinary life as well as for my husband’s job and we used to store the “mountain” in a shoe box but when that began to overflow we started to add them to little decorative dishes so now they are literally everywhere! The mountains are growning foothills, lol! It never fails that when we need to contact someone, and we KNOW we have their business card with contact info on it, we have to spend countless minutes rummaging through the mountain and foothills to find it, and of course it is always one of the last ones we go through is when we find it. It would be so, so wonderful and convenient to have them all stored in one central place where we can easily access them quickly, efficiently and effortlessly! And, no matter where we are, not that is cool! I think it would be a fun task to get them all scanned and organized, that is a job I will welcome! Thank you for the chance to enter.

The Card Scan could help with all of my daughters projects as she is getting into high school and love grahics and design, and phototaking. She i looking at trying to start her own little side business babysitting so this would be a bonus. As a parent this would be great for the family, i like the portability of it, it has USB connection , scans in color, and is a unit that can consolidate data, so i dont have doubles of everything. The Exectutive is definately an up grade to our old old scanner.
