Tucker just started back to preschool this week. It is so neat seeing all the new things he is already learning and the crafts that the kids make. Elmer’s has been a classroom and a favorite in our home for years! If the product wasn’t great enough, I am very happy to learn about a recycling program that Elmer’s does called Elmer’s Glue Crew Recycling Program.

RLP_2985It’s time to start collecting for the 2009-10 Elmer’s Glue Crew Recycling Program!®

The Elmer’s Glue Crew Recycling Program had an amazing past year, with classrooms in all 50 states collecting their empty glue bottles and glue sticks for recycling. In total, nearly 1.2 Million students participated in this recycling program!

For the 2009-10 school year, we’re looking forward to making the Elmer’s Glue Crew Recycling Program an even bigger success – with a collection goal to exceed 2 million glue bottles and glue sticks Elmer’s Glue Crew Recycling Program is a fun, hands-on way to teach about recycling. As a program member, you’ll have access to plenty of helpful recycling-related curriculum and fun projects to keep your kids excited about recycling.

Best of all, you and your students also have the opportunity to win hundreds of great prizes, including a year-end Grand Prize!

Save the bottles. Save the sticks. Save the planet. Here’s to another great year!

What a great way to teach our youth about recycling and about how they can help clean up our planet!

We had a chance to check out some of the new Elmer’s glue products and we even donated some to the local preschool for their crafts. They, and we, are very thankful for this opportunity! I feel safe knowing that I can let my kids make crafts with Elmer’s and know that the product is safe for them.
