I always find myself watching the kids’ DVD’s. 
With the new Elmo and Abby’s Birthday Fun DVD, this has to be the cutest DVD! It not only shows Elmo, Abby and their friends playing games and having fun, they show you so many ways that birthday’s are celebrated.
On this DVD, there are tips for parents on how to talk to your little one about when they were born or adopted in to their families, as well as how to tell the kids that everyone has a birthday, and why we celebrate them.
Get ready to blow out the candles when Elmo and Abby’s Birthday Fun debuts on DVD June 2 from Genius Products and Sesame Workshop, the non-profit educational organization behind Sesame Street.
Synopsis
It’s Dorothy’s birthday on Sesame Street! Elmo is excited to celebrate his little fish’s birthday, and he has planned a big birthday party. Abby wants to help, but she has never been to a Sesame Street birthday party – only Fairy Tale birthday parties! Elmo teaches Abby all about pinning the tail on a donkey, playing the piñata game, and opening presents. Then Abby magically takes Elmo on an adventure to Fairytale Land, where they celebrate Little Red Riding Hood’s birthday. Join Elmo and Abby as they learn about the many ways that birthdays are celebrated. With a big flowered hat, a gigantic cake, and a bunch of birthday wishes, Elmo learns the true meaning of a birthday wish!

My sweet little Elmo and Abby fan is my three year old granddaughter. She turned three on May 31st! Her parents are postponing her birthday party to next month, so they can combine her party with her then five year old sister’s birthday party. I don’t think they’ll be able to pull that off much longer, LOL. I would love to gift her with this book for her birthday. We have loved the Sesame Street characters in our family since my son was a baby (30+ years ago!)

She started liking Abby the day Abby was in a little tutu dress. My 7 old watches whatever is on…she isn’t all that picky..if she doesn’t like whats on, she reads a book…yes you read that right.
