What? Entertainment Book can SAVE you money? *Review & Giveaway* (Closed)

by Tanya on September 30, 2009

in 2009 Holiday Gift Guide, Closed Contests, Product Reviews, Savings!

With as much as I travel, I cannot believe I have not had an Entertainment Book with me. Seriously! I was asked to check one out, and I was very excited and eager to see if an Entertainment book could help me ‘save money’.

Just this past weekend, we ventured to Omaha. We don’t live too far away, so my Entertainment Book is for the Omaha and surrounding areas. I am very proud to say that just on the first use of this book, we saved $8.00 at CiCi’s Pizza right off the bat. Hey, gotta love buy one get one free coupons that the Entertainment Book has inside! Everywhere that we went, we looked in the book to see if that location had a page inside. Well, I needed some canning materials from Bed, Bath & Beyond. Walah – I saved over $15.00 on one item.

ENTB-371_FeatBox10BookOn the way home, I was reading through the Entertainment Book and I am very excited to see discounts on things ranging from hotel & airfare all the way down to free miniature golf. Do you realize how much money one can save over the course of a year?

The 2010 book includes coupons for free items, buy one, get one free offers and many other discounts.  You can go to http://www.entertainment.com/ and enter your zip code to find the closest book or request a book to a specific location if you have upcoming travel needs.

2010 Entertainment Book – SAVE BIG with the restaurant coupons, plus discounts on shopping, attractions, travel and much more!

For nearly 50 years, Entertainment has been helping people save in tough economic times with the big Entertainment coupon book. Today, more then ever, people realize that the premium 50% off and 2-for-1 coupons found in the book help them save on everyday essentials right in their neighborhood including:

  • Dining
  • Shopping
  • Movie Tickets
  • Groceries
  • Services
  • Travel
  • Attractions
  • Car Care
  • Home Furnishings

Plus, with each book purchase you get online access to hundreds of additional local printable coupons and incredible online shopping discounts not found in the book.

Three ways to save:

  1. The Entertainment Book is filled with hundreds of 50% off and 2-for-1 discounts for your area on the things you do everyday like dining, groceries, shopping, services, and attractions. Plus great discounts on travel, home furnishings and much more!
  2. The Membership Card An Entertainment Membership Card is included with each book purchase to use at select fine dine restaurants, as well as to receive discounts when traveling.
  3.  Online Printable Coupons With each book purchase, you also have online access to hundreds of additional local printable coupons and incredible online shopping discounts.

If you buy a second book for another location, you will get $5.00 off your next book & free shipping ($5.00); saving $10.00 on a second book. We are looking to get a second book for our holiday travels to Texas. Think about all the savings we can get on travel and dining!

Why the need for a second book?
Well, if you travel a lot, the Entertainment Book can save you money in the locations you visit the most. Example: If you visit a large theme park, guess what? Chances are – they will have coupons or discounts in the Entertainment Guide.

When you get ready to travel to that location, you can log on for discount flights and hotels to www.entertainment.com and make reservations for anywhere regardless of which book you have.

What? SAVE by buying a book? I don’t get it. YOU WILL with the Entertainment Book!

I can either get the Buffalo book or the Hamilton Book but looking around restaurants in my area are included in the Hamilton book (like 2 for 1 at Quizno’s Subs) and we go shopping in the US more than Hamilton so that would probably be best.

We have purchased Entertainment Books every year for at least a decade — in whatever city we find ourselves living. To say it saves us money is an understatement! I give huge props to this lil’ book!! :) We plan our date nights around what restaurants offer a sweet deal in it.

I had no idea of all the attractions available – museums and movies are top on our list, but we don’t do that often because of the cost.
