Family Stickers & Car Decals from Family Stickerz.com (Closed)

Last year, I wrote about a company that makes the most adorable Family Decals that you can add on your vehicle, front door on your home, mailbox – pretty much anywhere! Last week, I traded in my van for a Jeep, and I needed to get an updated replacement Family Stickerz for the new ride, so the first place that I thought about was Family Stickerz to get my family stickers and website decal.

Recently, I was able to work with Family Stickerz again, and I have to show you my entire process from start to finish.

I had to show you my entire experience. Not only was it easy, but it was fun!

I logged on to http://www.familystickerz.com/, then on the left side of the site, I clicked on ‘Create your Family Sticker Now’. This takes you to where you can start with a family member, and go from there (Dad, Mom, Baby, Pet, etc.)

I clicked on dad first. There are a lot of options for dad. Sports, family guy, grilling master, business man… You name it, there is an option for him! Need more? There are more – click on more and it will take you to page two.

I did this for myself (mom), then son, daughter, then our kitty. You have the choice to name each family member, or you can click the box not to name each individual. If the person, or pet, is deceased, you have the option to add a halo. I really loved this feature!

Once you choose all the members that you want on your Family Stickerz, you will see a preview and have the chance to go through and approve it, then complete check out.

Once you complete check out, literally within a few minutes, you will receive an email letting you know that your proof is ready. Within that email, it will have a link that you click on and it will show you your proof. Here was mine:

Cute, isn’t it? I loved seeing it and was so excited to see it in person!

How long did it take to arrive? Oh. My. Gosh. 2-3 days. FAST!

Packaging: I have to say that the packaging was awesome! Sure, it was in a box, but with my website decal (more info below), the Family Stickerz came in a box that included a bag with a balloon in it. Sounds funny, I know, but this is the best packaging so that the decal doesn’t get bent in shipping. Within this balloon and packaging, there were very detailed instructions on how to clean your window to prep to put the stickers on, as well as how to care for it.

What does my car window look like now? Here ya go! Ignore the dirty window – we cleaned it later.

I cleaned the small area with rubbing alcohol, as per suggested to keep the decals in place, on the area. I wiped clean with rubbing alcohol in just that area, then peeled back part of the corner, then started to put on.

I am SO HAPPY with everything from check out to how it looks on my vehicle! No bubbles anywhere, all of the small pieces within are in tact and didn’t come off on the sticky part while putting on the glass (eyes, small pieces such as the spokes within the trike that Tucker is on and even the details within each person are all there.)

The website decal was SO easy to put on as well. Again, I used rubbing alcohol to clean off the area, then proceeded to peel back a corner of the backing, then placed the corner on the glass and pulled all the backing off. After this, all that was left was the lettering and the outside paper. Once this (see below) was in place, I used a card (I used my drivers license) and rubbed on top of the paper covering the vinyl lettering. Once I was done, I started to peel off, making sure there were no bubbles.

I had ordered the ‘www’ on the website (this was what I had on my van, so I re-ordered), but once I received the entire website link, I had forgotten about the hinges on the window, so Family Stickerz recommended (and a GREAT recommendation, I might add!) to take the www off and it would fit. I have to say that I LOVE this and think it looks better than it did on my van with the www on it.
