Frigidaire is about to make my life easier!

Have I mentioned how excited I am to be getting a new Frigidaire refrigerator? I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am! I am more excited to know that with the space saving ability that the gorgeous Frigidaire Gallery Counter-Depth Refrigerator will allow me.

Here is a video to show you what we currently have. We live in an 1900 home and the fridge came with the house. We don’t know how old this is, but from the video, you can tell how tiny it is. Poor thing leaks, we have foil on the freezer door to hold ice and it is just shy of 5 ft tall. This has to be at least 20 years old; if not older. We have it cranked up all the way on the coldest setting that it allows just to keep our food at a decent cold temperature. Some may say that it is leaking. I say that it is crying. LOL

In my kitchen, we just did some updates, so the new refrigerator will fit in beautifully!

To be honest, I never thought about an appliance making MY life easier. I know – bad me! I thought an appliance was just that – an appliance. I never thought that a dishwasher would save you time, money, and energy. I never thought about the time that I would have saved if I had the right stove. How can a washer and dryer save me time? Well, when you can wash two loads at once, and dry them in half the time – hello! Dishwasher saving you time? Sure.. you put dishes in it, but how long does it take for the cycle to complete? Is it really worth it? Frigidaire’s new dishwashers not only save you time, but money and your sanity as well! I also never even thought that a refrigerator would save me time. How can a fridge save ME time? Well, when I opened my current fridge this evening to find something to make for dinner, it took me about 20 minutes just to fish though all the containers, shelves that I rigged in it and all the messy clutter.

What am I most excited about? Knowing that I can open the doors and look in the fridge to see what I can make the kids for lunch without pulling out a dollar store basket to see what/if anything is inside. I am thrilled beyond words about the adjustable shelves. I am giddy knowing that I can walk up to the PureSource Ultra™ Water Filtration that is on the door and grab a quick glass of water. Easy. Fast! We actually cut back on buying fresh vegetables as much because in our current fridge, the vegetables were ruining faster than we could eat them. With the Humidity-Controlled Crisper Drawers, this will allow us to control the humidity in the drawers so that we wont be tossing out those veggies.

This fall, we may be getting a new range to finish off the kitchen. When we went out to buy a dishwasher last month, we wanted something that was a reliable brand as well as affordable. We went with Frigidaire! Guess what my range will be, when we get ready to buy?
