Tucker is 4 and has been asking for a dog. Yeah, well, I am a person that doesn’t want to scoop poop – I don’t care how cute the animal is. When I saw the new FurReal animals from Hasbro, my heart melted, skipped a beat and all I could think about was all those kids out there that want a pet, but either cannot take care of one, cannot have one or maybe they are allergic to them. Hasbro has gone far and beyond my expectations as far as the FurReal Panda is concerned. Not only is Panda adorable and cuddly, but he moves! He literally interacts with you and your kids.
Give lots of love and affection to your cuddly panda friend and he’ll give it right back! Just pet him to watch him “come alive” and play peek-a-boo with you. He’ll giggle when you tickle his foot and slurp when you “feed” him with his bottle accessory, just like a real baby panda. And you can tell he loves you when you give him a great big hug — because your new little buddy really hugs you, too!

We have had more fun with ‘Pandy’, as Tucker calls him, than I could have ever imagined. I love how the Panda interacts with the kids. When you tickle him, he laughs, giggles and snorts. Hilarious and SO cute! I was so surprised when I saw Panda actually hug Tucker. I thought he was just messing around when he said “Panda just squeezed me”, but he was giving a hug. What I find so funny and cute is when you have Panda sitting somewhere and you walk by him, he has a sensor that makes him come ‘alive’. I walked by earlier today and Panda started giggling and making his cute noises, then was sniffing to see if I had a bottle. I tell you what – this is just about as real as you can get if your kids want a pet. So cute!
As a parent, the one thing that really stands out to me that I liked right off the bat, was that the FurReal Panda comes with batteries already in him. You don’t have to worry with rushing off to buy batteries if you are giving this as a holiday gift or any gift at all. Removing Panda from the retail box was nice too. I didn’t have to stand on it, tug on it and fear that something would break off because of the massive ties that were in the packaging. Easy to get out for that anxious little one ready to adopt his or her new baby furry friend!
How much is the FurReal Panda? You can find him online or locally for right around $49.99. I have paid more than that for a baby doll or a noisy toy for the kids that hasn’t brought near the smiles, the giggles and the love that FurReal Panda has brought.
