FuzziBunz Cloth Diapers

I never ever thought I would be known as a mommy that uses cloth diapers. I told some of my family that I was using cloth and they immediately said “What? Are you insane?” They immediately thought about the long, bulky cloth diapers and pins. Nah, I don’t have patience for pins. I found some cloth diapers from FuzziBunz that I am in love with! They are the One Size Diapers. They grow with your baby from around 7 pounds, to an estimated 35 pounds. Yes, I started cloth diapering a bit late in the game, but I am very excited to be a part of this new cloth generation. It is fun and eco-friendly, oh, and not to mention CUTE! We still have some disposable diapers in our home, because I wasn’t confident in myself at first and I thought I would resort back to the disposables because I wasn’t sure if I would have the time or the patience for Cloth Diapering. I can tell you one thing – when you use cloth diapers from FuzziBunz, you will not want to go back. I have a storage bin just to the right of our couch that stores our cloth diapers, inserts and organic wipes. Do cloth diapers save money? Possibly, if you choose to launder the diapers instead of using a diaper service. You’ll save an average of $30-$50 a month over the cost of disposables, even if you buy diapers in bulk. I have been using cloth strictly for over a month, and even with my investment of cloth diapers and accessories, I can already see a savings just in the first month. I seriously don’t know why I haven’t decided on cloth sooner!

Long lasting diaper covers, such as those from FuzziBunz, will estimate around $18.95 each. You can spend at least that much, or more a couple of times a month on disposable diapers, so your savings can quickly add up!

One more thing about cloth diapering – FACE IT! They are cute! I adore seeing Kambry in her cloth diapers from FuzziBunz! I really don’t mind washing Kam’s soiled diapers because I know that we are saving money and her diaper rash is nothing like it was when she was in disposable diapers.

The FuzziBunz cloth diapers that Kambry has on (Yellow) are the One Size and we love them! The pink plaid cloth diapers are the size Large. We use those for night time with a double insert inside to prevent leaks. Love them both! Kambry isn’t big enough just yet for the size Large during the day. So we use the large during the day, so we chose to use them at night; perfect choice! Both sizes and quality had this mama at hello!

I do like my FB diaper – it looks like they revamped it a bit – which is good – watch the snaps – one of mine ripped out and makes it a challenge to get to stay on now. (What? I’m cheap and won’t get rid of it :) )
