Let’s get ‘Pink Together’! Breast Cancer Awareness Month *Giveaway* (Closed)

Pink Together Logo_SM

I have a close friend that is a survivor of Breast Cancer, and another close friend that her sister lost her battle with breast cancer, so this topic is very heartwarming for me. There are so many causes that I am very passionate about ranging from domestic abuse survivors, being very active in my community for the local schools and in our ‘safe place’, raising awareness with cyber bullying, and of course, breast cancer awareness.

If you weren’t aware, all of this month is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I am so proud to be a part of a campaign to get the word out to everyone. I wanted to share with you an online community on MySpace where those touched by breast cancer can connect and provide support, comfort, and encouragement to one another.

On PinkTogether.com everyone can share hope by posting and reading inspiring stories of breast cancer survivors and supporters within the community.

The site is part of Pink Together®, a national campaign to support those impacted by breast cancer and to help raise awareness of the disease. To support Pink Together, General Mills is donating $2 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and is turning the packaging pink next month on an assortment of its most beloved brands. General Mills will also donate $1, up to $20,000, each time you post a comment of encouragement, send a virtual flower bouquet or share a story on PinkTogether.com all throughout October. I just sent two bouquets to my friends, in this honor. It only takes a couple of minutes; why not spark a smile on someone’s face?

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I have a fabulous gift pack to give away! This is TRULY a beautiful gift pack! When I received mine, I knew right away who I was going to gift mine to. I am so excited for her to receive it!
