We have all seen Girls Night ‘Out’, but what about Girls Night IN? There are times that hubby may be working late and I would love to veg out and watch a girlie flick. I also travel quite a bit and have looking in to how I can take movies along with me, without having to worry with our travel DVD player and tons of cables. With my iPod touch, I am able to rent a movie (What? Rent a movie on my iPod touch?) for as low as $2.99, or you can buy a movie for as low as $4.99 and watch it any time I want on my iPod touch, or if you have an iPhone, you can do this as well. There are a few movies that are $9.99 to buy, but this is still a great deal! With the traveling that I do, this is perfect to rent or buy a movie for myself to watch on the airplane, or rent a movie for Tucker to watch while we are traveling in the car.
“Girls Night In“ is a whole new page of movies at the iTunes store. It contains all those movies we love to stay in with the girls and watch. These are the kind of movies that make a great girls night even better, or entertain you on that night your just vegging out home with great titles such as ‘Must Love Dogs’, ‘City of Angels’, ‘Someone Like You’ and ‘Little Women’. These are those ‘go to’ movies that we all love to watch when we’re just in one of those moods.
The best part of this selection of movies is that they are all $4.99 to buy and only $2.99 to rent!!
I went through the iTunes Girls Night In area of the store and there were so many movies to choose from, and they were good movies! I wasn’t expecting as many newer releases to be available as there are, but I was pleasently suprised.

When I recently went in to the movies that were above $4.99, there were 56 movies that ranged from $9.99 to buy, and $2.99 to rent.
I purchased two movies for $4.99 each. I have seen Monster-In-Law (Jennifer Lopez, Jane Fonda, Michael Varta) a couple of times and I loved it so much I had to have it with me!
The other movie that I bought for $4.99 was a movie I have never seen before, but I love the cast, was Wedding Daze – 2006 (Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher).
I have an upcoming trip in a couple of weeks and I cannot wait to watch my purchased movies on my iPod touch on the plane! What a great and convenient way to travel!
You can visit iTunes here and it will automatically open up iTunes Girls Night In on your computer. Once you get there, you simply scroll through all the movie choices, click on BUY MOVIE or RENT MOVIE. From there, you will download to your iTunes on your computer and sync it with your iPod touch or your iPhone.

What a great idea! I had no idea you could “rent” movies like this and decent prices too. I may be borrowing my husband’s iPhone in the coming weeks. I really need to get my own or an iPod touch. I’m starting to feel stuck in the 1800′s without one.
