Personalize their gifts with Hallmark

Are you still looking for the perfect gift? Why not head over to Hallmark and pick up something that means so much and costs so less; oh – and that you can customize? Here are some of my ultimate favorite things that Hallmark has this holiday season. Of all the gifts to give, give a smile and Hallmark can help!

Recordable Storybooks: The Recordable Storybooks feature voice capture technology that records the reader’s voice directly into the book (the holiday version of the Recordable Storybook captures a reading of the classic “The Night Before Christmas.”) When a child turns a page, the book automatically plays the text in the reader’s voice. In addition to making a great keepsake, the Recordable Storybook may be useful for parents in the military, parents on the road for work or grandparents, aunts and uncles who are miles away from a child during the holidays.

DVD Greetings: Hallmark DVD Greetings are an interactive approach to the holiday newsletter. Each DVD Greeting hosts a template that can be edited and customized with personal photos, burned to the included DVD and sent with a coordinating greeting card (also included).

Digital Scrapbooks: The Digital Scrapbooks incorporate music, photos and text with personal photos which can then be displayed on a digital photo frame, computer screen, television or anywhere a USB drive can be used.

Recordable Cards: More than 30 holiday Recordable Cards both With and Without Music are available from Hallmark. Each allows the sender to record a 10-second voice message directly into the card which the recipient will hear when opened. The Recordable Cards with Music also feature a 30-second song clip which plays after the message.

I can tell you that after we had the opportunity to check these new products out, we went and picked up a few of these for our family for gifts. What grandparent can resist a recordable card with their grandchild’s little voice on it?

The Recordable Storybook seems like such a great idea! I actually tried to get one on 11/23 and they were all sold out in my city. Needless to say I was very bummed! I had intended to get one for each of my two girls, and my husband and I were each going to read one so they would have both our voices recorded.

    Maybe next year! :(
