I *heart * me some Harry Connick Jr! From his acting in Will & Grace to soaring away to the overall to tone of his voice.

I am usually a ‘recent hits/pop’ type of listener, but here lately, I have been venturing over to a more soothing side. I had the pleasure to listen to Harry Connick Jr’s new CD ‘Your Songs ‘ that was released on September 22nd. I. Am. In. Heaven. I love everything about this; from the gorgeous cover (yes, I said it), to Harry Connick Jr’s soothing tone. I usually am not one to listen and like an entire CD, but with this one, I listened to it once, twice, over and over again.

    I love his mellow voice and how he reworks old classics. From this CD I’m dying to hear “And I Love Her”. It would be interesting to hear his take on that Beatles tune. Plus “Some Enchanted Evening.”

    Who could not love listening to Harry.
    I love the christmas song with LeAnn Womack “Baby it’s Cold Outside” but on this album it is a toss between “The Way You Look Tonight” and “Smile”.

    What’s not to love about Harry Connick, Jr? I love watching the movies he’s in. I love to see him as the Grand Marshall at MardiGras in New Orleans, and I love his charitable efforts to rebuild New Orleans. I think he’s very sexy, handsome and talented. I love his version of Mona Lisa, but I love all his songs-he has such a smooth voice. I can’t believe I don’t already own a few of his CDs? I’m bad at buying things for myself:)
