When I thought about what I could cook in this bad boy, my heart smiled. At first, I was thinking of all kinds of ways to make a roasted chicken because anytime I cook a whole chicken in my crock-pot, it gets so soggy while it’s cooing that it falls apart. The George Foreman Roaster is amazing! I made a whole meal in just over an hour and a half (about 10 mins prep time and an hour and a half cook time).
For the recipes, I followed parts of the recipes that are included in the roaster’s box, but I tweaked them a little bit.
For the chicken, I went pretty simple with butter, rosemary, oregano, salt and pepper. I cooked it 3 minutes on one side, then flipped it for another 30 minutes.
It turned out beautifully amazing!
What’s nice about this roaster, is that all the flies and fats from the chicken while it’s cooking, is that it all flows in to the tray that’s just under the roaster.
I thought I’d try some mixed vegetables, including potatoes, carrots and cherry tomatoes. I also mixed in one packet of rang dressing, then baked it for about 30 minutes in the baking pan of the George Foreman roaster. Delish!
I tossed in the tomatoes just a few minutes before the veggies were done cooking. If you put them into soon, they’ll turn to mush.
Absolutely love the George Foreman roaster! It helps save on heating up the kitchen by not having to use the oven for a couple of hours. Tonight, we will be making brownies in it! Clean Up – Oh my gosh. Clean up is amazing! After these two dishes, I literally just used a wet cloth and wiped the inside down, and washed the baking tray in the sink. So stinking easy to clean up! George Foreman Contact Roaster with Unique 360 degree cooking heats and seals from all sides for moist and delicious food. This grill is perfect for full cuts of meat, casseroles, desserts and more.
