Our favorite breakfast is pancakes! My son helps mix the pancake batter ( tend to buy whatever is on sale when I run out, I’ve never tried Hungry Jack!) and then he sits on the counter and helps me put chocolate chips in the pancakes on the griddle. We tend to go through at least half a bag of chocolate chips each time because we munch while we wait!

I like to make oatmeal for breakfast because it is sugar free and provides energy for the day.
I love making omelets for my kids and letting them pick anything they want to go in them. Mine aren’t so little any more, but they switch between oatmeal and cheese grits in the breakfast routing. I do the same because it’s so easy to throw either in the microwave at work and eat at my desk.
