I flung dog poop

dog poopYou read that right.

Word to the wise: Do NOT let your dogs crap in someone’s yard that is home and is looking out their windows!!!!

We get up this morning and I am getting ready to head to get groceries. I look out the window and see our neighbor looking at our house. Keep in mind, we have about 2 foot of snow on the ground, she’s in her jammies, so she has to be cold. I forgot she had a dog. Well, come to find out, I think they have three dogs. Two were in my yard this morning leaving me a couple of presents. If you had/have a dog, do you pick up after them? In most states, this is a law – that you have to pick up after your dog poops. Well, she left two lovely piles of dog crap… in the snow…. in front of MY HOUSE.

I walked in, grabbed the shovel off my deck, walked over to poop pile # 1 and I hurled it in their yard.

I walked over to huge poop pile # 2, walked over and flung that poop pile in their yard as well.

Did that give you a nice visual image? The next time, the poop might end up on their door step. :D

Be nice. Pick up after your pet. It’s not only rude, but inconsiderate to let your dog take a crap in your neighbor’s yard, right under their window at that, and NOT pick it up. If you don’t pick up after your dog, you might have a neighbor that is not as nice as I was this morning.

Don’t worry. I’ll be sure to video the next incident. :D

I own two dogs and have never once even allowed them to poop in someone’s yard. One day though I did go out for a walk and didn’t even think to grab a baggie, and wouldn’t you know that’s when one decided to poop in someone’s yard. I had to go down the street grab some flyer out of a For Sale box (horrible, I know) go back and scoop up the poop. And I carried a lovely paper carrier of poop all the way home. I think it’s rude and plane disgusting to allow your dog to do that on someone else’s property.

Good for you! She needs to know that you don’t like that. I have found that in my neighborhood, those who own larger dogs, pick up. The people who own little ones, just ignore it! i think they think it’s only a little turd so why bother. I mind having someone else’s poop in my yard. I have a dog and always pick up after her. If we walk, I take a baggy. It’s only fair and courteous!

LOL! You go, girl! I always carry a bag when I walk our dog. I’m pretty sure we have a leash law here but our dog never goes outside the front of our house without a leash.
I don’t know if there’s a poop law around here, but it certainly isn’t polite to let your dogs do their business in someone else’s yard and leave it. I know our HOA has put out a notice about it before.

I think this is so disgusting when people do this! You just put it back where it really bleonged! LOL
This happened to me once. I was upstairs one morning and in my pjs. I look out my window and this guy from down the street is letting his dog crap in my front yard! I open the window and yell out-Don’t let your dog go to the bathroom in my yard! And he has the NERVE to say-Well, I pick it up. And I was really mad at that so I said Well I don’t want him going to bathroom in my yard at all! I mean, how rude to think my yard was his- you never get it all off.
People like this only care about themselves. I hope your neighbor got the point!

ROTFLOL!!! You go girl! I hate it when people do that. They have to pick up after their dogs here in Seattle. They should have to everywhere. In the snow…that’s just gross!

Good for you!! This has happened twice (by the same person) since we’ve been in our house. The first time we were moving in & my husband caught her & warned her. The second only happened a few days ago. I came home from picking my daughter up at school & pulled under the carport (around back of the house). I was on the phone with my husband so I walked around a little in the driveway while talking only to notice my neighbor with her dog in my front yard watching it poop. I LOST IT! My daughter was inside. My son was asleep in the car. I ran out to her SCREAMING! I ripped her a new one b/c that’s just plain rude! I guess I didn’t realize how crazy I’d gotten b/c my daughter came outside b/c she heard mommy screaming from inside the house. In hind-sight, not such a good role model! I can’t believe these people, I mean really. I told my husband that next time I’d scoop it & throw it back. What comes around, goes around.

LOL I would’ve put it in a bag, gone up to their door, and said “I think this is yours.” Let them feel the embarrassment of being caught face to face.

Once I was walking my dog and the for one and only time in my whole life I had no bags in my fannie pack (BIG oops) the guy came out and had a fit. I felt so bad, tried to tell him I don’t usually do this, I always clean up after my dog, etc. I even begged him to go inside and get me a bag ( I was two miles from home). He refused. I ended up going home, getting a bag, and coming back. I was soooo embarrassed! I can’t imagine leaving poop in someone else’s yard as a matter of course. Ugh!

Even those two initial “offerings” should have landed on their doorstep. Or maybe in a small bag handed to whoever opens the door.
I could send you a big bag of alpaca poop to drop all over their yard. Oh, wait…that wouldn’t actually stink, they’d probably just mistake it for large (okay *very* large) rabbit poop, and it would be *good* for their lawn. Never mind…just heed the first two ideas.
Oh! You could also put it on the windscreen of their car…

LMAO Gooo Tanya! I did that once. Our neighbor has an old pug and a huge Great Dane, they let the little crapper poop on the side of our house all winter. When we found it under the snow, we bagged it up and tossed it on their back door step.

In Ames, they would get a BIG fine if they were caught not picking up after their dog.
