This past summer, my brother in law had an iPad and I thought to myself ‘why in the world would one need or want an iPad?’ Guess what? I have an iPad and I love it. I use my iPad for traveling with my blog, hubby uses it for his school work and the kids (ages 3 and 5) flip through pages like it’s nothing for them. My little ones love digital books, so when we were asked to check out a couple of digital books, I was eager to check these out. Who can turn down Meryl Streep and Robin Williams?
- Velveteen Rabbit – Narrated by Meryl Streep with music by George Winston.
- Pecos Bill – Narrated by Robin Williams with music by Ry Cooder
These apps sell for $3.99 per story, and there are so many more coming out!
With my having an iPhone, iPod touch and an iPad, I can easily get our story books on each without having to pay for three separate codes. My kids are always using the iPad for fun, learning, movies and storybooks.

The storybook apps are available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and versions for the Android version is currently being worked on. Currently, the iPhone/iPad and iPod touch storybooks that are available are:
- Velveteen Rabbit – Narrated by Meryl Streep with music by George Winston.
- Tom Thumb – Narrated by John Cleese with music by Elvis Costello
- John Henry – Narrated by Denzel Washington with music by B.B. King
- Johnny Appleseed - Narrated by Garrison Keillor with music by Mark O’Connor
- Pecos Bill - Narrated by Robin Williams with music by Ry Cooder
Want to check these out for yourself? Your little ones will love these, I can assure you of that! For more information, please visit http://www.ruckusmediagroup.com/ or on Twitter at www.twitter.com/ruckusmedia.

I’m in love with Ipad too! :yahoo: I’m currently off to scouting for efficient free apps and I like to share with you task management app Intuition aka “Mom’s Personal Assistant” and for your toddler I hear Ewe and AlphaBaby. All these are really useful and again, free! :good:
