iPhone 4 FaceTime – It’s more than just a ‘phone’ call

Have you ever moved 5 hours away from  your best friend and wished that you could be there with her at any given time, or any given day?

We moved to a small town, away from our friends and inlaws 2 years ago, so the thought of myself being ‘side by side’ with my bestie was something that brought tears to my eyes and something that was much appreciated.

Tonight, I had the chance to chat – LIVE – with my BFF, Cat, that I haven’t seen face to face in some time. While we email or text almost daily and we talk on the phone not as often, it was nice to be able to have the opportunity to use the amazing feature from the amazing Apple iPhone 4 – FaceTime.

Pardon my comfy-night time-couch set up on the right. LOL

Why is FaceTime great???

  • If you have family that lives in a different town, you can do a quick FaceTime call to say hi – literally, waving.
  • Do you have grandkids that are about to start school? You can FaceTime to say GOOD LUCK and that you love them just before they head off to their first day of school.
  • Most hospitals have Wi-Fi these days, don’t they? (Do you see where I am coming from?) You will be able to FaceTime to see that new Grand Baby’s precious face after she is born.
  • Family in the military and you can’t be there in person to witness it? You can FaceTime your loved ones so that they can be right there with you to welcome him or her home from serving our country.

My list can go on and on. I have been using FaceTime for the last few weeks and I can say that I am utterly impressed and IN LOVE. When I was feeling down, my phone rang tonight and I was able to see my best friend – face to face – now that is a ‘FaceTime Moment‘.

What is your FaceTime Moment? Who would you love to see? My list is growing on a daily basis with the iPhone. Memories are being made. Laughter is being created. Love is being shared. It’s the small things in life that make others happy. FaceTime just made my entire month… even though I didn’t have on any make up.

There is so much about the iPhone 4 that I love and so  much that I am learning on a daily basis. (Literally). FaceTime is truly an amazing feature, truly amazing! I am completely addicted to the iPhone itself with the features, apps, maps, capability that is entails and FaceTime has added so much more to my thoughts about why one should, or want to, purchase the iPhone 4.

For more information, I welcome you to visit Apple’s page with information about the iPhone 4 and FaceTime.

All opinions in this posting are 100% my own. We were loaned two iPhone 4′s to use for the duration of our review. We were not paid in any form of product or cash for our thoughts.

I have seen so many good stories from FaceTime! My brother has it and when we got together not long ago he called hius son stationed at an AFB in California. It was nice ‘seeing’ Stevie so far away. Technology is amazing!

I LOVE Face Time calls… my step-son & DIL have an iPhone 4 also so we can talk to them and see our grandson, who just turned four years old. He shows me his toys and draws me pictures and even sings me songs. It is such a fantastic invention from microsoft, I can’t wait until my son in the Army gets his so I can see him when he has wi-fi available.
