Last week, I attended an event for Johnsonville Sausage in Milwaukee, WI: Johnsonville Sausage “Kitchen-to-Kitchen” Bloggers Event where I was able to meet the company, learn more about their products and even cook with Johnsonville. I have a couple of posts to share with you about what I learned and some yummy recipes, but I also wanted to share with you my stay at The Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee, WI.
The Iron Horse Hotel
The Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee is the transformation of a 100-year-old warehouse into a luxury Milwaukee boutique hotel that delivers an authentic Milwaukee experience. As the industry’s first upscale hotel geared for business travelers and motorcycle enthusiasts alike, this Milwaukee hotel meets the distinct needs of both corporate and leisure guests with special services, unparalleled amenities and 100 loft-style guest rooms.

When I arrived, this building took my breath away! It is so historic and beautiful as can be!

My room had a lot of space and the bath was a nice size

….. but I could have done without the spooky chick on the wall. I could not sleep at all.

I kept feeling eyes on me at all times. While it is neat to look at in the daytime, at night, the girl gave me the heeby jeebies.

I woke after just a couple hours of sleep and decided to get some room service. The food is really good!

The view was refreshing!

Overall, the hotel was beautiful, but I don’t know if I could stay here again, unless I requested a room that didn’t have eyes.
