I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom CentralConsulting for MetLife. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
How are you planning on spending Mother’s Day on Sunday? Do you take her out to eat? Do you pamper her with a spa day? Usually hubby and the kids will make me breakfast in bed and we may go out to dinner in the evening, or sometimes in the past, we’ve just had a relaxing day at home with games, grilling out and movies. Regardless of what your plans are for Mother’s Day, there’s always a chance to make memories. This Mother’s Day will be the ultimate Mother’s Day for my entire family and myself. I will be sharing later this week what my exact plans are, but for now, it will remain a secret so my mom won’t see what is planned. 😉 This Mother’s Day will definitely be one for the memory books!
My job as a blogger requires a lot of online time and a lot of time with my computer, iPad, phone, you name it. With that said, I am really excited to participate in a campaign with MetLife that is heart warming and meaningful. MetLife has created the #SocialBlackout movement, which challenges everyone to log off of social media on Mother’s Day, which is this Sunday, May 12th). This will give you and mom, mom and the kids, and the entire family the attention and love that she and they deserves. I am happy to say that tomorrow I will be electronic free. Well, I will have my phone on me so that I can call all the mother figures in my life, but I will be offline from the blog, FaceBook, Twitter, etc.
Please visit MetLife’s FaceBook Page and learn more about and join in with me on tomorrow’s Social Blackout. I would love to hear from you on Monday or some time next week and see how your Black Out went!
