Kicking back with the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO! #HPFamilyTime

I’ve written how EASY it was to se up my new HP ENVY 23-dl0xt. I’ve written how connected I was with my HP ENVY,  and I’ve shared how happy that I am to keep in connection with loved ones from hundreds of miles away. So, now what? I have sooo many more ways that I use my HP ENVY 23-dl0xt All In One PC, but with it being sport season, what about those ‘sports widows’? What happens when the hubby hogs the main TV in the house to play his games? Where do you watch your favorite shows? Well, I decided to pull the kids’ Lego table up next to the TV where hubby was, grab a comfy blanket, prop my feet up and put on a movie. This way, hubby is able to play his game, I can watch a movie and we can still have time together to see and talk to each other. This is what I call the best of both worlds.

The picture quality on this bad boy is far better than I ever expected, and far better than even our own flat screen TV.

Not only have we been able to have more time together as a family upstairs, but when I’m working in my office, the kids love to sit by me and color and watch a movie as well. On my desk, I have my main computer in the middle with a spare TV monitor on the far left so I can have a split screen for the middle computer. On the far right is the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO. I can use this as my blog computer, or it’s absolutely perfect for the kids to watch a movie so we can spend some time together while I’m working.

The size of the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO is very light in weight and easy to tote from my office in the basement, to the main level of the house. On the back of the PC, there is a grip so you can tote it easily. Since it’s an all in one PC, all we need is the main part of the PC. We don’t even need the mouse or keyboard, so that’s nice!

Overall, my experience with the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO over the past couple of months has totally changed how I look at PC’s. I’ve had some bad luck with PC’s in the past, so  having this in my home to check out, has upped my opinion of PC as a whole, as well as HP as a brand. I have absolutely no complaints about the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO. Our family highly recommends this all in one for any busy family!

I wrote this review while participating in a program on behalf of HP and received an HP desktop PC as part of my participation. My thoughts and opinions about the HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart AiO are  based on my person experience with this device and are not persuaded by anything or anyone. If I didn’t like this, I would be completely honest and let you know every detail that I disliked.

  1. Hey Tanya, thanks for the review. Did not think about the advantage of being able to move this baby around as an option to a full desktop. I heard some stories that these are slower and less responsive than a desktop. Have you seen any problems with speed or is the Pentium 5 fast enough for your needs? In hindsight is 6 Gigs enough memory?
