I love to decorate the house for the holidays, but I’ve never put a whole lot of thoughts in to decorating for Halloween. Not sure why, because I love the fall holidays. I had the chance to work with Kmart and go visit a local store to see what all they had to offer.
Our Kmart didn’t have a whole lot of decorations, but they had a great selection of halloween costumes.
Kambry decided on a queen costume. This is a perfect fit for her personality and definitely not one that we’ve seen anywhere else. Tucker looked at the costumes at www.Kmart.com and he decided on a Ninja. The prices of the costumes are really good! I was shocked to see that the price of Kambry’s Imperial Queen costume was a lot lower than I had expected. I’ve seen similar costumes at other locations for double the price.
They didn’t have our sizes in the costumes that we wanted, so we are ordering our Pirate costumes off the Kmart website.
If there’s a costume that you want, and the local store doesn’t have it, be sure to search for it on the Kmart website. You can have it delivered just in time for that Halloween party or you can schedule it to be picked up at a Kmart near you.
With the leaves falling, the ‘Buried Alive Skeleton’ will be a perfect fit in our yard, along with the head stones to create a spooky graveyard.
The RIP tombstones are made of a styrofoam, but they are very nicely made. They go in to the ground with two plastic poles that go inside the bottom of the tombstone, so they won’t fall over and you don’t have to dig in to your grass.
While we’re out Trick-Or-Treating, the kids will be prepared to reach their hands out and get their treats.
Since we went to Kmart, we’ve been decorating the house and getting is ‘spookified’.
In our front widow, we have lighted eyes, hanging ghosts, a lighted pumpkin, a huge spider web and even the front door is decorated.
When you come in to the house, you’re greeted with our cute lil’ witch. She stands about 2 1/5 feet tall.
Not everything has to be spooky when it comes to decorating for Halloween. We explored more of the Kmart store and over in the middle of the aisles on the other side of the store, we found some great fall decorations to add throughout the house, living room and dining room.
I’ve always wanted a light up Jack-O-Lantern, so I was giddy when I saw this.
Along with some of the fall decorations that I picked up at Kmart, I also made these Candy Corn decorations.
While you’re out shopping for Halloween Decorations and Costumes, don’t forget to pick up candy for those Trick-Or-Treaters. Talk about candy selection!
Now, the question is… are YOU ready for Halloween? We are!
Be sure to stop by Kmart for all your decorating, costume and trick-or-treating needs.
Thank you to Kmart for allowing us to participate in this campaign. All opinions are 100% my own and are not persuaded by anyone or anything.
