Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System *Review & Giveaway!!

in Closed Contests, Product Reviews

ltlogoIf you were to ask me a year ago if we needed in home video surveillance, I am not really sure what I would say, but now that we are in our new home (well, old home, but new location), our home is 2 story and there are times where I would like to be able to be upstairs putting away laundrlogitech2y, but I would like to know what is going on around my house, on my deck, while I am doing the things I need to get done. Also, what would you think if you had the ability to watch what was going on in or around your home from the internet, in the event that you are away from your home? Guess what? Logitech allows just that now! I didn’t believe it until I had the chance to use the Logitech® Indoor Video Security Master System. I cannot even express how easy this was to get installed! EASY isn’t really a word for it. I installed the CD to my computer, plugged in the outlets and set the Logitech® Indoor Security Camera to a key point in my house and walah – installed! The Logitech® Indoor Security Camera is easily moved around to where you need or would like to keep an eye on within your home. If I am upstairs cleaning or doing whatever, I can move the Logitech® Indoor Security Camera to my dining area, where is a key area in our home, or if I am doing work at my desk, I can put the camera on the window at my deck to watch the kids playing. I am very amazed with the technology that is available in today’s age!

Logitech® Indoor Video Security Master System

It’s all plug and play. Using innovative HomePlugTM technology, the Logitech® Indoor Video Security Master System transmits encrypted video over existing electrical wires straight to your PC.

Easy setup gets you up and running fast.

  • Three simple steps: Install Logitech® Command Center PC software, connect the USB receiver, and plug in the camera anywhere around the home or office. Installation takes 15 minutes.
  • No-hassle setup: No new wires to run, no network configuration.

See live footage or store it for later replay.

  • Automatic video storage: Intelligent camera detects motion, recording video directly to your PC’s hard drive for easy playback and archiving.
  • Powerful search and playback tools: Review stored video footage from prior hours, days, or weeks.
  • Intuitive Windows interface: Easily navigate and set your preferences.
  • Motion-activated cell-phone and e-mail alerts: Quickly update you when you’re on the go. Receive text or video messages if there is motion at your property.
  • Expandable system: Monitor video for up to six cameras simultaneously.

Two viewing options when you’re on the go.

  • Free remote viewing via the Internet: View live video from your WiLife account-anywhere, anytime.
  • Windows Mobile® cell phone accessible: Check on your home or business even when you’re on the go.

Mix-and-match versatility.

  • Expandable for maximum coverage: Add up to five additional Logitech® Indoor, Outdoor, or Spy Add-On Cameras in any combination to any Logitech® Master System.
  • Multiple indoor-mounting options: Attach to a window (facing in or out), place on a desktop, or mount to a wall for optimum positioning.
  • Attractive design: Camera seamlessly fits in with home and office furniture.

Package Contents

  • Logitech® Indoor Security Camera
  • Logitech® USB receiver
  • Logitech® Camera power supply
  • Logitech® Command Center PC software
  • Window mount
  • Desktop stand
  • Wall mount
  • Window decals
  • USB cable
  • Camera ethernet cable (10-foot, 3.05-meter)

Product Accessories

  • Spy Add-On Camera
  • Discreetly monitor your home or office with a stylish camera.
  • Outdoor Add-On Security Camera
  • Monitor your home, your garage, and much more.
  • Indoor Add-On Security Camera
  • Use inside your home or office.

One thing that is great about the Logitech® Indoor Security Camera is that if you are away from your home, you have the ability to live stream on your cell phone (for those cell phones that are able to), as well as you can log on to the internet and view your home in live motion. If you choose, you can also have your cell phone or email alerted when there is motion in your house. Very cool! This is absolutely amazing technology especially if you want to go out on a date night with your hubby and you area really curious as to how the baby sitter is going while you are out. Spying? Nope. You are checking in, as needed.

I have been using the Logitech® Indoor Security Camera for a week now and I truly do not know how we lived without it. I use it on a daily basis. When the kids are napping upstairs, I go upstairs to work out on my Elliptical. I can easily move my Logitech® Indoor Security Camera to my entry way and I can keep an eye on my front door for deliveries or visitors on my laptop upstairs. When the kids get up from their naps and we are all downstairs, I move the camera to the deck where I can be inside with Kambry and am able to keep an eye on Tucker while he is playing in his playhouse on the desk. Technology is truly amazing!

3 Esther March 2, 2009 at 11:55 pm

4 Suanne Giddings March 2, 2009 at 11:54 pm

For some reason, our security system started interfering with our telephone. It came down to having a phone or having a security system and the phone won out. I would feel much safer with this Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System installed in our home. Thank you for the opportunity to win!

5 Suanne Giddings March 2, 2009 at 11:50 pm

The Harmony Remote would be wonderful…i need something that will get all my remotes combined

10 Heather C March 2, 2009 at 11:43 pm

I am afraid the neighbors kid is either throwing stuff or shooting pellets at my dog, so perhaps if I point one of these cameras that way, I’ll catch them in the act, if it’s happening (I’ve caught them before).

11 Susan Marina Brown Lane March 2, 2009 at 11:36 pm

The Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System would help me to keep an eye on my 3 children. The Playroom is down 2 flights of (about 14 steps total) stairs. Instead of constantly running up and down stairs, I would be able to see them from the main part of the house. When they are outside, I could set it up outside of the kitchen window to point at the playground area! AWESOME Giveaway! Thank you!

12 Amy March 2, 2009 at 11:32 pm
13 Donna K March 2, 2009 at 11:31 pm

It would be great for security.

14 Donna K March 2, 2009 at 11:30 pm

I would like a keyboard.

15 Susan Marina Brown Lane March 2, 2009 at 11:29 pm

I need the Clearchat Comfort USB headphones! One side of my old set is broken (another brand). I need them so I won’t disturb the children at night while they are sleeping.

16 Amy March 2, 2009 at 11:26 pm

I like the Harmony® 890 Advanced Universal Remote. We have so many remotes it often gets confusing trying to figure out which one is for what. This would certainly help us out!

17 Renee We March 2, 2009 at 11:25 pm

I need help watching my toddlers, then again I ‘d like to spy on my teenagers.

18 Kimberly Emerson March 2, 2009 at 11:09 pm

I would love to have the Harmony 1100 Universal Remote Control. That thing is awesome! It has a touch screen and it would make my constant search for the correct remote to the correct machine a thing of the past. Plus, I’m sick of the cluttered look all these remotes give my living room.

Thank you for the great giveaway!

19 damac1078 March 2, 2009 at 10:51 pm

This as well as the web cam would be useful for our new addition coming in 4 weeks.

20 Heather C March 2, 2009 at 10:37 pm

21 Pamela White March 2, 2009 at 10:01 pm

I could use the Logitech universal remote to get rid of all the many individual remotes.

22 Lu Ann March 2, 2009 at 9:56 pm

24 Michelle H. March 2, 2009 at 9:21 pm

I would love to have the rechargeable cordless mouse.

25 Bryan March 2, 2009 at 8:43 pm

I’ve been in the market for a home security system, and I must say that Logitech, really blows all of them away with their myriad of features.

26 Sonya March 2, 2009 at 8:24 pm

I need the Logitech Harmony to make all of our systems work together!

27 reva skie March 2, 2009 at 7:57 pm

I adore Logitech’s Marble® Mouse. I love that you just roll the marble instead of moving the entire mouse around.

28 Dan March 2, 2009 at 7:53 pm

I also like the QuickCam® Vision Pro because it looks like a great and easy web cam

29 Auriette Lindsey March 2, 2009 at 7:41 pm

I’d like to have the Logitech® Wave Keyboard™, because it’s ergonomic, and I am on the computer so much at home and at work that I worry about developing carpel tunnel syndrome. I could really use the security camera system as well; we have some punk kids across the street to our right and a drug dealer across the street to our left. It’d be nice to be able to check what’s going on when we’re not home.

30 Rickey Moham Jr March 2, 2009 at 7:00 pm

41 Betty C March 2, 2009 at 1:51 pm

I would like to be sure the restraining order we have isn’t being broken. It would be great to have stored documentation if that should happen.

42 Betty C March 2, 2009 at 1:47 pm

Logitech offers keyboards and mice. Right now I am looking for a new keyboard and since I can get a good combo from Logitech that is probably the route I will take. My current keyboard is in really bad shape and it is extremely frustrating to try to type with sticky keys.

43 SaLisa Saylors March 2, 2009 at 1:25 pm

My husband just got moved to third shift, so this would be great to keep me from jumping up everytime I hear a bump in the night.

44 Veronica Garrett March 2, 2009 at 12:42 pm

The Illuminated keyboard would make my career easier. I do a lot of computer work at night and the lighting ism’t the best. The security system would enable me to keep an eye on who and what is going on around my house. Sometimes I am working at home alone.

50 Dan March 2, 2009 at 11:06 am

They sell webcams, like the QuickCam® Vision Pro. That would help me since I don’t have one, and then could video chat with friends and family.

51 NIta M. March 2, 2009 at 11:05 am

The harmony remote is definitely something I could use. Every morning I collect the five different remotes my husband seems to need to watch one television. Every evening he seems to misplace at least one of the remotes.

61 Donna M. Clark March 2, 2009 at 3:23 am

The Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System would give me piece of mind. I could look in on my little ones when I am not able to be there with them. Besides, my Hubby is an electronics nut, and he would go crazy with more toys to play with.

62 Donna M. Clark March 2, 2009 at 3:17 am

QuickCam® Communicate Deluxe would be helpful to me because my Hubby is an Over the Road truck driver, and this would help us keep in touch while he is far from home.

63 D Johnson March 2, 2009 at 3:10 am

Very nice

64 sharon scott March 2, 2009 at 1:28 am

My son would love the Logitech steering wheel to play racing games. Here’s what they say about it.

Wheels

Transform your home into Indianapolis or Monza with the intense realism of Logitech premium racing wheels.

I’d of course like the security system because last year someone broke in and stole some of my husbands stuff. If we had this we could have found out who did it, Thanks for the great contest!

65 Pam T March 2, 2009 at 12:49 am

I could really use the illuminated keyboard, I’m usually on the computer late at night after everyone goes to sleep. The video security system would make me less worried about whats going on outside

66 Aaron Bretveld March 2, 2009 at 12:43 am

I was actually just thinking the other day about getting a security camera for my apartment just for piece of mind. I like that this camera is easy to setup and can be expanded with outdoor cameras and other indoor cameras. Logitech seems to have always done a good job with their software too, so I expect it to be quite easy to use.

67 Liz C March 2, 2009 at 12:17 am

FreePulse™ Wireless Headphones.

68 Jon Lefkove March 1, 2009 at 11:54 pm

Thank you very much for this opportunity!

69 Shelly March 1, 2009 at 11:44 pm

Wow. This is just the kind of product I was looking for. I’m caregiving now and this way I can keep an eye on my dad when I am upstairs and he is downstairs or visa versa. It can mean I know he is safe. I can even make sure if I see him getting ready to wander, that I can rush downstairs. I visited the site and would also get the NightVision Illuminator Kit and an extra camera. Thanks for bringing this product to our attention.

70 Mollie G. March 1, 2009 at 11:25 pm

I’m always worried about what kind of mischief our autistic 11-year-old is getting into… In particular, the ability this system provides to monitor both the pool area and the driveway with secondary cameras is on my mind as a goal to pursue.

71 Mollie G. March 1, 2009 at 11:24 pm

Several of their wireless mice look good! We definitely need a new wireless mouse around here — with the pedestal sitting down under the work surface, the typical mouse “tail” just isn’t quiiiite long enough to allow that “freedom to flourish” my gestures sometimes require!!

72 Lisa H March 1, 2009 at 11:20 pm

The Harmony Universal remote would help me get rid of the ton of individual remotes that are all over my living room.

73 flared0ne March 1, 2009 at 11:18 pm

BTW — this L.I.V.S.M.S. (with the outdoor add-on security camera) would help me keep an eye out for the FedEx driver, and the UPS driver, and the mailman, and the yard guys, and the hawks chasing the next-door neighbors’ pet cat, and so on and so on… And the built-in “DVR-equivalent” functionality means I can track back and see what was happening while I was out… Wow! Me, me!!

74 flared0ne March 1, 2009 at 11:12 pm

The Universal Remote would solve a lot of problems around here — but it would create a small, minor NEW problem… “Where’s the ‘mote ‘trol??” “I have it in here!” “But I need it in HERE!”…

Ah, progress!

75 Lauren March 1, 2009 at 10:34 pm

The Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System can be helpful to me because it allows me to see the footage on my cell phone when I’m not able to be home.

76 Jeanine Peterson March 1, 2009 at 10:33 pm

I love the Harmony Remote being able to take the place of all other remotes. This would make things much easier because I would have to wonder which remote I need for what.

78 Cori Westphal March 1, 2009 at 10:23 pm
79 Cori Westphal March 1, 2009 at 10:22 pm

I’d actually love to be able to have this placed by the door to our basement. I have being home alone and when I am, I am always paranoid and am checking the basement door when I hear a noise. I could watch the basement door when I’m upstairs. I’d feel a little safer!

80 Cori Westphal March 1, 2009 at 10:19 pm

I would love to have the Logitech Harmony universal remote. We have about 47 remotes to be able to watch TV or a movie. This would really save some space and time! Thanks!

81 Chrysa March 1, 2009 at 10:02 pm
82 Chrysa March 1, 2009 at 10:02 pm

I want the Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution!

83 Jay F. March 1, 2009 at 9:47 pm

I could use the Logitech USB hub, as the one I have is very old and runs hot. I would love to use this prize to check on the front door for visitors and packages, and to be able to see if I closed the garage door from the bedroom computer.

84 Debbie B March 1, 2009 at 9:27 pm

88 Beeb Ashcroft March 1, 2009 at 7:32 pm

I love Logitech – as a matter of fact, I am typing this on a Logitech Keyboard and clicking with a Logitech mouse!! Both of these items are wireless, which is very handy. Another item that I would like to try from them is their Harmony® One Advanced Universal Remote, since my universal remote isn’t working with my TV very well. Thanks so much!

89 Terry C March 1, 2009 at 6:47 pm

The Logitech Harmony 1100 universal remote would really help me. We currently have 3 different remotes and it would be so much easier to have just one to do it all. Thanks for the great giveaway!

98 Aaron Bretveld March 1, 2009 at 3:32 pm

I would love to win the G9x Laser Mouse. I have always loved logitech’s mice in the past, but I took an opportunity to get a really good laser mouse from Razer. I want to give logitech another chance with their latest and greatest mouse, but I can’t afford to buy it.

99 Kayce Crews March 1, 2009 at 2:57 pm

I would like to replace my keyboard with the Logitech Access Keyboard 600 because it would my easier to use.

100 LeifEPA March 1, 2009 at 1:54 pm

I tweeted about the giveaway. First Tweet, I hope I did it right.

http://twitter.com/JellyPA/status/1266375988

101 LeifEPA March 1, 2009 at 1:45 pm

I would love to have the Logitech® Indoor Video Security Master System, if only to feel safe again in my home. In 2007, my home was burglarized in broad daylight. The crooks made off with about $5,000 worth of uninsured items. The worst part about it was how violated and vulnerable I felt. I moved out of that house a month later and moved to another town. But having a security system in place would really give me peace of mond.

102 LeifEPA March 1, 2009 at 1:41 pm

I could really use any of their Universal Remotes. I was going to be specific and say the Harmony 1100 Advanced Universal Remote, but with that one I may wind up just like Ozzy Osbourne on his reality show, pushing buttons randomly on a complicated Universal remote and never quite getting it to do what you want it to…..lol.

103 Lisa Taylor March 1, 2009 at 1:05 pm

I would love to Quick cam Vision Pro for when the kids are chatting with their grandma online

104 David Clark March 1, 2009 at 12:20 pm

My favorite item from their site is the harmony universal remote control.

I’d love to have this prize to give to my father. He has gotten robbed more times than I think he’s told me about.

Thanks for the contest.

108 Tammie March 1, 2009 at 9:11 am

I’m interested in the Cordless Desktop Comfort Laser, because: a)it’s cordless, b)the keypad is ergonomically designed, c)it is very reasonably priced and d)combined with the video security system my kids will think that mom really does have ‘eyes in the back of her head!’ ;)

109 Paula Harmon March 1, 2009 at 7:31 am

My kids looked with me and they immediately picked the illuminated keyboard. I like it too, I work alot on my computer in the early early morning and late at night!

110 PW March 1, 2009 at 5:07 am

This is the only security system I will never need. Please consider me for this prize. My home and family will enjoy it!

118 joanna smith February 28, 2009 at 1:21 pm

This Logitech® Indoor Video Security Master System can help us in so many ways. It will first and foremost give my husband and I great peace of mind in knowing that our home is being monitored at all times both while we are home and also when we are away. It is a great deterrent in keeping potential criminals from approaching your property, they will just move on to the next home that does not have a security device in place. The fact that you can easily move this system around makes it so versatile when we are home! I can easily keep an eye on my 3 young children if they are in another room and I need to get something done somewhere else in the house. We can also use it as a “nanny” camera when we go out and have a babysitter stay with our 3 young children. We can make sure our kids are being treated properly by having the chance to view the footage when we get home. The uses we will find we will have with this are endless! The more we get used to how it works and incorporating it into our lives, the more ways we will find we want to use it! Thank you so much for introducing this product to us!

119 joanna smith February 28, 2009 at 1:14 pm

After visiting Logitech’s website I find they offer many fantastic products that not only wow’d me, but would be useful in our household! One of the products that really caught my eye is the Harmony® 550 Advanced Universal Remote. We have a coffee table in the family room with a big basket sitting on it filled with at least 8 different remotes. Half the time I don’t even remember which remote goes to what device, LOL! Having one Universal remote like this specific one from Logitech would allow us to get rid of those 8 remotes in the basket and quickly and easily use just the one remote for all of our electronic and audio devices! This product is genius and I learned it can be used for up to 15 different devices! Yes, I am impressed! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter.

125 Brandi February 27, 2009 at 9:52 pm

This would be great for me I have a PFA on my ex husband for three years and I live up the side of a mountain neighbors are far away from me. I wanted to buy something like this but I cannot afford to. I have three kids to protect and myself this would be a great win for us. I may have a PFA on him but if someone wants to get you they will. This could be a life saver.

132 Vickie Bartlett February 26, 2009 at 11:34 pm

I’ve been broken into before and it would be awful nice to have a camera setup in place while I’m gone.

a Security Camera is a must in my house

144 Jennifer g. February 24, 2009 at 9:58 pm

I liked the webcams that Logitech has. It would help me stay in touch with family and friends in a personal way.

145 Jennifer g. February 24, 2009 at 9:49 pm

This webcam would help me in so many ways. If I were home alone with my kids than I could put the camera in the bedroom when my daughter takes a nap and I’m in another room with my son. If we are all awake than I could monitor the house or door to feel safe. I could monitor the house if I’m away to make sure no burgars or anything was in the house. Most importantly, I could actually go on a date occasionally with my husband knowing that at anytime I could check in on my kids from my cell phone. That is phenominal!

146 Carla A February 24, 2009 at 9:27 pm

I could use the earphones.

This security system could really help me, because I live out in the “Boonies”. My fiancee works graveyard shift so he leaves me and the child from 11 pm. to 7 am. I hear all kinds of bumps and thuds in the night, and knowing that I have a security system in place would help me to sleep at night. Not like I’m sleeping much with a baby in the house anyways! I love that you can monitor your house even when you are not home…with a handheld camera….how cool is that? what a great product!

150 jayne February 24, 2009 at 11:45 am

I could really use the quick cam. It would help me keep up with my family that is so far away!

151 Lee Taylor February 24, 2009 at 11:12 am

The ‘Harmony 1100 Universal Remote’ would be ideal for my household! With two pre-teens and two little ones in the house – the remotes (all six of them) are always being misplaced or lost. Last night, for instance, I found the DVR remote in the freezer next to an empty carton of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream! The ‘Harmony 1100′ would definitely bring some ‘order’ and hopefully ‘a bit of sanity’ to my household! And with economic times as they are, there’s been a few burglaries in our neighborhood recently, so the ‘Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System’ would be a great addition to our home! Thanks for the ‘awesome’ giveaway offering and good luck to all!

152 Denyse February 24, 2009 at 11:11 am

I am in college and would love this video security system! I am alone in my apartment studying a lot, so it would be nice to see who was at my door or in my front entry way.

165 Julie February 21, 2009 at 1:55 pm

I would love to be able to watch my kids at night. Sometimes it takes a while for them to go to sleep. If I go in, there is the danger of disturbing them. I could also tell, from my computer, if the noises are ones I need to investigate.
This week, with hubby and I both sick, it would have helped a lot!

166 Julie February 21, 2009 at 1:52 pm

169 Gina February 19, 2009 at 12:04 pm

I really like the Harmony Universal Remote, that would free up cluttered devices everywhere in my living room.

I would definetly use this security system as my front door is solid and I have no way of knowing who is on the other side when they ring the door bell or knock. My current system is “Who is it?” and trusting that they are who they say they are.

170 Maureen February 19, 2009 at 8:49 am

One of the items that I saw on this site that I would like to have is the QuickCam® Connect Webcam. I don’t have one. It sounded like it would fit the bill excellently.
Great Things.

This security camera looks super cool too! I’d love to be able to see what is going on downstairs when I’m upstairs! And to be able to see when you are away from home? Crazy cool!

200 Sylvie W. February 14, 2009 at 5:47 pm

I’m into the LX3 Optical mouse. It fits perfectly into the palm of my hand and enables me to work so efficiently.

On another note, the video security system would give me the peace to know that the creeks I hear in my old apartment are simply that, just creeks.

201 Sylvie W. February 14, 2009 at 5:44 pm

I like the LX3 Corded Mouse. It fits perfectly in my palm and enables me to move quickly around my computer.

Regarding the video security system, living in an older building that creeks a lot, this system would give me peace. I’d know that a creek is just a creek, that’s it!

202 Holly B February 14, 2009 at 2:24 pm

I think I want this monitoring system the most from Logitech! We just moved into a cute house in a not so savory neighborhood and I’m kind of paranoid!

204 Catherine February 14, 2009 at 12:27 pm

Ok, I am simply drooling over the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. My hubby likes to watch tv with the lights on low, making it hard to type when I am working at the desk. Of course any of the add-on for the security system would be sweet too. Thanks for the contest.

I would use this security system at my house because I live where no neighbors can see or hear me (unless they are quiet outside). I could use this because I am always scared someone will break in my house and no one will see them to know who it was. This way I could see. Thanks so much for the chance.

223 Craig S. February 13, 2009 at 3:08 pm

This security camera would be fantastic around the house. Being as how I will be moving into my first house here in about 3 months I am already worried about monitoring my stuff no matter what part of the country I go to. I would probably be using this to keep an eye on my garage or any other valuables around the street-side of the house. Thanks for putting this on.

I am a big fan of the logitech harmony remote control. It sounds petty but I like it and with everyone having an increasing number of electronic devices in the home it would be handy and convenient to have.

227 B.W. February 13, 2009 at 2:54 pm

A logitech wireless mouse would make it easier for me to use my computer.

228 susan February 13, 2009 at 2:39 pm

We would love to have a QuickCam® Pro 9000. We live quite a distance from our families and would love to be able to see and communicate to one another in real time. How fun that would be!

229 susan February 13, 2009 at 2:38 pm

We have a hidden entrance so we can’t see the street. When people drive up we don’t know who or what they are here for. This would help keep our home safe. We also travel quite a bit so we would feel a lot better knowing we had some “eyes” at our house.

230 Brady February 13, 2009 at 2:32 pm

The Logitech security camera could help me keep an eye on my dogs while I’m away.

231 Cary G February 12, 2009 at 8:41 pm

My son is three and I have yet to trust anyone to babysit him yet, so the husband and I have not been on a date in FOREVER. This system would surely provide me with peace of mind. I like that you can review footage. That way if you had to accuse someone of wrongdoing the evidence is right there. Thanks!

237 Rashmi @ A Bookworm Mom's Diary February 11, 2009 at 1:22 pm

The QuickCam® Orbit AF would be great for visiting with long distance relatives. Thanks!

240 Connie G February 11, 2009 at 10:42 am

I think the Logitech Harmony would be really useful in our household. We have several remote controls for a variety of items, it would be helpful to be able to use just one.

241 Sarah February 11, 2009 at 8:43 am

i’d love to add the G51 surround sound speakers to my brand new computer! it’s the only thing missing!

242 timothy l February 11, 2009 at 8:11 am

243 Jennifer G February 11, 2009 at 2:40 am

245 Tom February 11, 2009 at 1:13 am

Logitech Harmony, eliminate 4 remotes.

246 George February 10, 2009 at 11:34 pm

The Logitech® Indoor Video Security Master System would definitely be cool not to mention useful. It would be great for watching puppies from work. Although I probably wouldn’t get much done… But mostly for the old lady for the same reason. She’s 14 and starting to fail. I know it’s just a matter of time, but I would feel better if I could check on her more frequently when I’m not home. Besides, if I could record her bedba (only marginly confused with roomba) routine I could win America’s Funniest Home Videos! When I’m not around she likes to move the dog beds around the room and sometimes stack them as well.

247 Erica C. February 10, 2009 at 11:34 pm

very nice!

248 George February 10, 2009 at 11:26 pm

Although it’s not fancy or high end, the TrackMan® Wheel is fantastic. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and this mouse keeps me from the motions that affect my wrist. Although my thumb gets tired from time to time.

249 Debra Stuebs February 10, 2009 at 11:18 pm

Hello, the harmony remote would be my choice. I would love to be able to use one remote to control everything. I would really love the security device. I have 3 kids and one is autistic. It would be so very comforting to know I could check in on all of them but especially him when I need to be away from home. Thanks for a great and informative review of the product. It did make me one to purchase one…but I’d rather win it!! :)

250 Terry February 10, 2009 at 10:45 pm

The Logitech Company has won 7 CES innovative awards for design and engineering. They have a excellent reputation. We need a security camera because we have 4 kids and I would feel better if we could see who was at the door. Thanks for awesome giveaway.

251 Judy February 10, 2009 at 10:39 pm

The Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System offers a huge dose of piece of mind. To be able to know what’s going on in and outside of your home is a blessing these days. To keep an eye on the kids and “goings” on while you’re away….priceless!

252 Judy February 10, 2009 at 10:32 pm

Logitech’s Harmony remote would save my sanity! Our remote is currently in pieces and you have to juggle them to get it to work….

253 Judy February 10, 2009 at 10:28 pm

264 Catalina K February 10, 2009 at 5:29 pm

If always wanted to get a webcam so I can talk to someone and they can see me. Like when my daughter’s father is away on business, or to send Grandma and Grandpa a hello! Love it!

268 Gena February 10, 2009 at 1:51 pm

The QuickCam Orbit AF webcam looked pretty cool. It has motorized tracking. That is the collest feature.

270 Shirley Hodge February 10, 2009 at 10:48 am

I had my first Logitech keyboard when I moved to Scotland and I loved it. Now that I am back home in the US I naturally got a new keyboard as my UK keyboard was designed for use there so now I have the US version of Logitech keyboard and wouldn’t consider any other one but while looking over the Logitech website I found the Wave Keyboard and know that will be my next keyboard.

271 Joe February 10, 2009 at 10:44 am

this system is awesome. unlike many systems anyone who can install a program on a computer can install this system. no cables to run, no video cards to add to your system… does need a hard drive that is sizeable though.

281 Dorothy Davidson February 10, 2009 at 6:37 am

Wireless keyboard and mouse.

282 Rick Stafford February 10, 2009 at 5:51 am

The Harmony Universal Remote is way cool. To go from 6 remotes to 1 would be great. With the Logitech Security Master System I could finally find out who’s been swimming in our pool when we are not home.

As to the Security System, my wife and I have two girls, 6 and 10, and there are times when I do worry about them (all three of them) and their safety. Also, I really like the fact that I could see via the internet. Makes it handy for spot checks on the house.

339 Eric February 9, 2009 at 1:34 pm

I have to say out of all the items on the Logitech Website, (of which we use their keyboards and mice) I really like the Squeezebox™ Duet. The ability to stream our internet music is awesome!

My home was broken into before. Though I don’t consider myself paranoid, I have been more concerned, and occasionally uneasy, about it. I have no intention of moving out. Logitech’s Security System would add a measure of reassurance for me. Even a little more confidence would mean a lot to me right now.

343 Jean D. February 9, 2009 at 1:08 pm

Logitech’s G51 Surround Sound Speaker System would be absolutely nifty. For some reason, my computer speakers aren’t terribly loud, and certainly aren’t good quality. I’d love it if Logitech helped put some life in my digital music.

Generous giveaway. Thanks!

344 Dan Smith February 9, 2009 at 1:02 pm

346 Deborah R February 9, 2009 at 12:50 pm

I could definately use two of Logitech’s universal remotes! It’s difficult to settle down to a relaxing evening of watching or listening to something when you have to figure out which remote is which.

Also we have new neighbors that look extremely shady. When we go on VACA I would love to see that my house is okey dokey.

362 stacie rodgers February 9, 2009 at 9:33 am

One thing from their site that would be helpful is the harmony universal remote control. We have so many remotes floating around, it never fails we can’t find them when we need them. If we had one truly universal remote, it would make life so much easier.

This camera system is awesome as well. I have been thinking about these kinds of things as we are venturing down the road of home ownership.

363 Ruth Bousquet February 9, 2009 at 9:32 am

The Harmony is great to eliminate the remotes. The Video security is simply awesome with it’s way too cool and unique features…unbelievable and not a bad price at all.

We recently moved our small business from home to a multi-tenant building. Due to the cost of the recent move we can’t afford a security system yet. We now have our doors open to the public to view the showroom but leaves our office and workshop with vulnerability since they are all housed together. The Logitech Indoor Video Security Master system would solve the problem that is in the back of our minds if the unthinkable happens until we could afford a security system.

The Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote would help at our house. We have so many different remotes that just add more clutter. I would love to have one eye pleasing remote sitting on the coffee table.

My daughter is a violinist and her teacher is sometimes “on the road” the QuickCam® Orbit AF would make long distance lessons a possibility. With 2 teens in the house the Logitech® Indoor Video Security Master System would make checking up on them a breeze!

I hate it when people stand out of view of the window and I can not see who they are. The would help that problem. I would love my dh to be able to watch the door from work also. I am scared of my own shadow, so I would love this. I would also love the QuickCam Pro for Notebooks we are big skyp fans.

Logitech carries a cool USB Desktop Microphone.

Sometimes when I am home alone, I would feel much more secure with a system in place to help protect my home.

I’m keen on the Illuminated Keyboard- I use my computer a lot at night & prefer the lights to be dim- but that makes some aspects of keyboarding awkward- problem solved with illuminated keyboard!

I think the security system is brilliant- workwise we need to monitor a retail space that is accessible to the public, but spend 95% of our time in the backroom where it is next to impossible to hear the entry chime when someone steps in.

This sounds truly great, I’ve been looking for a solution to this problem but this product opens up far better possible solutions. I’m definitely going to pass this one along. I can see how it us totally useful at home also- a visual doorbell, if you wil, one that is mobile to boot.

Premium Bluetooth Wireless Technology,
wireless rechargeable laser mouse and a detached one-touch media pad.
That would be fantastic as it is all cordless and my stuff is always getting tangled up.

The Logitech security camera could help me keep an eye on my cats while I’m away.

The Logitech Harmony could help me get rid of all my remotes.

I have had packages stolen off the porch, so the Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System would be great.

The Squeezebox Duet seems so cool…I could definitely use that to help simplify things! :D

The Logitech Indoor Video Security Master System would ease my mind considerably. Work and errands keep me away from home and the neighborhood
I live in isn’t the safest. I’d hate to have some scumbag break into my home
and go on a shopping spree. Protecting myself and my property is very important
and this system could help me send a thug (or thugs) away in the event of a
home invasion. I think if a big percentage of the population had this
hardware up and running in their homes this would send a very powerful message
to thieves everywhere that crime doesn’t pay. Inevitably they will be caught
and do serious time with dangerous people.

our home was broken into twice over the past year and we really need to get som better security.

I love the

Mix-and-match versatility.
Expandable for maximum coverage: Add up to five additional Logitech® Indoor, Outdoor, or Spy Add-On Cameras in any combination to any Logitech® Master System.
Multiple indoor-mounting options: Attach to a window (facing in or out), place on a desktop, or mount to a wall for optimum positioning.
Attractive design: Camera seamlessly fits in with home and office furniture.

On the Logitech website, the Harmony Universal remote would be wonderful and enable us to get rid of about 7 other remotes we have around the house. I would love to win the Logitech security system. We have recently had numerous armed home invasions in my surrounding area during daylight and nighttime hours. This system would give me and my husband peace of mind that the intruder’s face could be caught on tape and preserved for police inspection.
