Lowe’s, Here we come!!

So my dishwasher idea sparked in to some other ideas. From me, that is  We are heading to Lowe’s to check out a countertop, drawers, cabinets, sink and dishwasher. I am soooo stoked! READY for a kitchen that I like. What will the damage be?

Short story: I am on strike. I refuse to wash another damn dish. I want a dishwasher.

Long story: I wanted to have a dishwasher installed, but I don’t think it will be ‘that easy’. Our house is a 1900 home and here is my kitchen. Yes, this is the ONLY counter space I have. Sucks. (pics below)

We are going to Lowe’s to price not only a dishwasher, but a sink, countertops and the under section/drawers and whatever we need.

If I am going to cook 3 meals in here, I need to like my kitchen. Honestly, if I were working and didnt have to be in here 90% of my day, I would care less.

Here’s my drawing I made from this area with measurements.

Two angles of my counter and cabinet space. These are the ONLY drawers and cabinets that we have. I keep a lot of stuff in storage drawers in the pantry if we need it.

IMO.. I think black appliances would go best with kids in the house, and with the color of our floor. I’ll keep you updated. Post more later! :D
