This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Lunchables. All opinions are 100% mine.
Every time, when we go to get groceries, there is one thing that we always make sure to get: Lunchables. These are the best treats when we are on the go and the kids love them! I remember asking for these when I was in school. I still love these, as an adult. The kids’ favorite is the Ham, Cheddar and Mini-Ritz. (Get them to ham it up. Made with Mini Ritz Crackers, Kraft 2% Cheddar and ham.) Perfect duo that both kids love!
Other than tasty treats, Lunchables is offering a contest that is too good to pass up – even for us, Field Trips For All! I bet your child would love to go on an ultimate field trip, but on top of that – bring TEN of their friends! I am so excited about this contest! There won’t be one winner – there will be 110 winners!
10 Grand Prize Winners: TEN grand prize winners will get to take TEN of their friends to one of these fun filled locations!
- Georgia Aquarium (World’s Largest Aquarium with more than 8 million gallons of water!)
- Kennedy Space Center (Who wouldn’t want to train for a mock space mission?!)
- San Diego Zoo (Be a part of the zoo – touch, train & have the time of your life!)
100 First Prize Winners: $150.00 to spend on a fun local field trip!
I can say that we are going to enter this, for sure! Knowing that Tucker has a chance for the ultimate field trip, and to take 10 of his best friends – that would be a truly memorable event and one that we would love him to experience! Just by asking Tucker which he would choose – he said “Kennedy Space Center”. He said ‘I wanna be an astronaut when I grow up so I can fly to the moon!’ Even a winner that receives one of the 100 First Prizes is truly a winner as well! Seriously – $150.00 to spend on a local field trip??? This would be amazing as well! If we were to win, we would take our field trip to the Omaha Zoo.
Here is more information about the contest (which, by the way, you need to enter!)
Hands-on experiences like field trips can help engage children in learning that can open their eyes to the world beyond the classroom. That’s why Lunchables Lunch Combinations wants to help deserving kids across the country go on an inspiring, educational experience with the launch of the program, “Field Trips For All.”
“Field Trips For All” is the first effort from the Lunchables Team’s new initiative called Project Potential. Aimed at empowering kids with opportunities to help them reach their full potential, Project Potential will provide enriching experiences kids might otherwise not have.
According to a 2009 report from The American Association of School Administrators, it’s estimated that over the course of the current school year, the number of school districts eliminating field trips will increase by 56 percent. That’s more than 30,000 schools.
- How: Anyone 6 years of age or older can nominate a deserving classroom by going to www.lunchables.com and submitting a nomination. From all nominations received, 50 classrooms will be selected to go on an inspiring, educational experience.
Do you have someone you want to nominate? I would nominate my son, Tucker, and his preschool classmates to join him. This is, literally, a chance of a lifetime. Who would you nominate??
Be sure to go to www.lunchables.com for more information and to nominate someone today!
