If there was ever the power of the internet, it is NOW and you can help. LeapFish has joined forces with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to adopt an ill child’s dream and help make that dream come true.
As a parent of a 4 year old, this really hits home for me. There is a little boy, Jacob, age 4, and he has a rare and life-threatening disease that has affected him since birth. Jacob has one big wish in life –- to go to Disneyland with his family. Tucker is 4 and he has his own wishes and dreams, so I can only imagine the want that his family has to get this wish granted. Here is where we all can help and Twitter is involved!
LeapFish will donate 5 cents per Tweet to the Make-A-Wish Foundation until $10,000 has been raised and the child and his family can go to Disneyland. Do you know how many tweets that is? If you think about it, really not THAT many to accomplish this huge goal! If I have 4000 followers and I reach out to them and they tweet, that is a possibility for at least $200 right away.
Tweet-a-Cause, a social media fundraising initiative, will give Twitter users the power to grant an ill child’s dream to go to Disneyland, one Tweet at a time. LeapFish will donate 5 cents per Tweet to the Make-A-Wish Foundation until $10,000 has been raised and the child and his family can go to Disneyland.
If I have 4000 followers that tweet out, that’s $200, then the next person may have 8000 followers and there is another easy $400.
All you have to do is help me get the word out! You can copy and paste this to your Twitter stream:
