Mapping my way to get school supplies #BackToSchool

Back to school with VerizonHere we are – back to school season. Already. With all that’s been going on in our lives, we almost forgot to go Back to School shopping, so we went a couple of weekends ago for clothes, lunch goods and school supplies. My Verizon Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet powered with powerful Verizon 4G LTE service. I mapped out my locations the night before of everywhere that I needed to go so that I could make sure that I got everything I needed in one trip, without back tracking.

I used Mapquest, which I love! I would have used my phone to map, but for me, shopping trips like this are so much easier on my tablet. Since we travel about an hour for day shopping trips like this, I wanted to make sure we visited every place that we needed, including Goodwill so that we could drop off last year’s backpacks and lunch bags and check out what they had that the kids needed for this school year.

Target, Walmart and Office Max were on our schedule to visit for those supplies that each kid needed. I had the school supply list up on the tablet and I was able to mark through what I had gotten so I didn’t have to worry about double buying for each kid. Worked like a champ!

Talk about being nicely organized for my day trip of shopping. The kids got clothes, school supplies, snacks and lunch foods.. meanwhile mama found an Olive Garden to stop and have a self date lunch with myself. LOL Everywhere that I went, I had great service so I didn’t have to worry about losing my map to the next location.
