Momfinitions ~ It’s a Mom Thing!

I think we all (mom, dad, kid – anyone) has their own definitions of words and even their own words. Here are a few of my own ‘Momfinitions’ that I say and to be honest, I don’t know where or why I got these. TwitterMoms recently asked us moms what some of our faves are.

Here are a few of mine.

Tur-tle-ette: {Adjective} ~ I call the kids this when they are being silly.

Stank-Er: {Noun} ~ A toddler that is attempting to be sneaky.

We seem to have a magical for a toddler that gets things off high places. ie: Play Doh contraption off the top of the fridge.

DipeDipe: {Noun} ~ Kambry is in Cloth Diapers and when she needs to be changed, she picks out her Dipe and brings it to mommy. ‘DipeDipe’

Nak: {Noun} ~ It seems as if mommy started calling Snacks .. Nak’s. All because of me, I cannot get my 21 month old to add the “S” in there. Now she and the toddler think it’s cute. I think they are mocking me. What do you think?

dotdotdot: {blurbish} ~ I guess you can say this was my accidental way of saying “Zip It” one day when the talking back was going on from the toddler. I have been known to use this to stop a toddler crime in action. Imagine it…Say it with me.

That is funny… we all have those funny sayings that mean stuff in our family and when you say them outside, people look at you like you’re nuts. Then when you try and explain, it’s really not as funny.
    Have a great Friday!!

Aw, those are all cute :D
When my sister was little, she had a tonsil problem and her favorite thing in the world were those little fruit snack bite things so instead of calling them ‘snackies’ she would say ‘nackies’ Lol
