I have been thinking about what to get mom for Mother’s Day, as well as step-mom, grandmas and I even have been thinking about myself. What – you don’t shop for yourself for gifts? 
I had the opportunity to go check out Sam’s Club for Mother’s Day gifts for my mother and step-mother, and I wanted to share with you some great gift ideas that are very affordable! When I went in to Sam’s Club, I had no idea what I was looking for, or any thought or idea as to what to get the mother figures in my life, so I went in with a blank slate. It was fun!
We arrived to Sam’s, and let’s just say that the kids were ready to shop! Right away, when we walked in, Tucker pointed to a stand of Wind Spinners, one in particular – it had a hummingbird on it.
For $19.98, I couldn’t pass this up for my step-mom. She loves wind chimes and things like this!
We ventured around and I looked at the bakery things that Sam’s had out for Mother’s Day. We are going back this weekend to pick up some more groceries, and some Mother’s Day cupcakes and goodies. For less than $10 bucks, you can’t go wrong!
As we kept strolling along, there was a nice selection of handbags, books and even Nintendo DS & Wii games. I had my eye on a couple of the handbags, but thought I would pass on other hints to the family for ideas for me. The handbags were gorgeous and most of them were just under $40.00 each!
Now, it’s to shop for my mom. I know that my mother loves sandals, jammies, perfume and she loves Sam’s clothing section. I picked her up a pair of denim capris and myself a pair of shorts.
The shorts are knee length, very comfy looking and were only $9.98 each! The capris that I got her are denim and were just under $15.00.
In my cart, for Mother’s Day gifts, I had:
- Shorts: $9.98
- Denim Capris: $14.98
- Wind Spinner: $19.98
TOTAL: $44.94
We passed a nice ice tea maker that I would have gotten for my mother, but she already has one. This was very reasonably priced under $40! While we were at Sam’s, I thought I would take a peek around to see what all they had to offer. I do wish that the Sam’s location that I frequent had a better gift selection, but the electronics area is quite nice! For Mother’s Day, I have told hubby that I am in dire need of a new laptop. The prices seemed reasonable! One in particular that caught my eye was the Dell Inspiron OPI Notebook 2.2GHz.
While we were at Sam’s, I thought that we would go ahead and stock up so that we can grill out for Mother’s Day this weekend. We loaded up on gifts and groceries! All in all, we had a wonderful experience! We found three gifts, for right at $40.00 total! (Shorts not pictured, as they were on me at the time this picture was taken.)
