You don’t have to be a new parent to a newborn to need and to use a baby monitor, especially a video baby monitor. While my kids are older now, we did use baby monitors when they were babies, but we still use baby monitors, as well as video baby monitors in our house. We have a tri-story home with a main level, upstairs and basement where my office & laundry room are at so we are finding ourselves to use the monitors a lot more than we did when the kids were babies. We can keep an eye on them playing killing each other in their rooms, I can see them playing on the main level while I’m in my office downstairs, I can see when the mailman delivers my mail from the top level of our house, I can see when someone’s at my front door and while I’m in my office, I can see the kids playing in the back yard… all from a small and handy color monitor.

When we received the Motorola MBP34 Video Baby Monitor, it was pretty simple to get started. It came with everything you needed, including a super convenient travel case!
I charged the video base for just a short while, then it was ready to use. Since the kids were at school, I thought I’d check out the quality by setting it up at my front door. We have a new puppy, Chloe and she was getting some fresh air.
It was super easy to get all hooked up and seeing her from my office made me feel more at ease.
The quality of the screen is amazing. It’s in color, so there’s no second guessing what you think you see when you can clearly see whether it’s outside or inside the house. I’ve found that with the cooler weather changes, the kids have had some horrible allergies and end of summer colds, so to keep an eye on them at night, we use the Motorola MBP34 Video Baby Monitor while they are sleeping. If they are coughing and need our help, we can get to them faster knowing exactly what’s wrong by hearing them and seeing them with the night vision.
We travel a lot, so we are easily able to take this with us to the inlaws, friends or when we are in a hotel that has separate rooms. We can keep an eye on our kids while we are home or on the go.
Overall, I am in love with everything about this monitor. The set up was perfect, the battery lasts a good while so you can still get things done around the house without being tied to a cord and the travel ease is perfect. You can find the Motorola MBP34 Video Baby Monitor for right around $199, and you can check out many other monitors by visiting www.Motorola.com
