MG thoughts

It was SO easy to get started. Seriously. SO EASY! I had my videos and my pictures in a folder, I plugged in the muvee Seagate drive, and automatically, the muvee software popped up asking me what I wanted to do next. Check this out:

DSC_1076

There was NO software to install on my computer. I LOVED this, especially since my computer recently crashed. I didn’t have to hassle with searching for my code to reinstall and all that jazz, all I had to do was plug and play. I love this and do see myself using it so many times to come!

We have many years of birthdays, barbecues and holiday gatherings that need to be whittled down to something a little more manageable. When I was little and my dad used to take home movies with his Super 8 movie camera, you had to be selective about what you shot because each roll of film was only 5 minutes long. Most recently, my 10 and 7 year old nephews have been filming themselves “hunting ghosts” – they wait until dark, grab a flashlight and the camera and for the next 30 minutes wander room to room asking the ghosts to talk or show themselves, and announcing frequently “I feel a cold presence!!” (they watch TAPS! haha!) I set the camera to green color only to give it the night vision look. They conclude the taping by announcing their findings “to the homeowner” (which is granny or auntie) and asking the viewers to “join us on our next episode!” – It’s absolutely hilarious and actually very well done for kids. I would love to be able to make something of these videos!!
