My Little Pony Equestria Girls: #RainbowRocks movie review #MLPEG

Yesterday, Kambry & I were able to go see the very new My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks movie. I love watching movies with the kids and when I saw some of the trailers of what this movie was about, I was really excited to go watch it. I love what all My Little Pony stands for and what they teach the little ones.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks the movie finds Canterlot High (CHS) hosting a musical showcase, and Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy are going to be performing with their new band, The Rainbooms. But when The Dazzlings, a new girl group, arrive at CHS and convince everyone to turn the friendly showcase into a Battle of the Bands, tensions mount between the competing musical acts. A now-reformed Sunset Shimmer realizes that the Dazzlings may not be ordinary girls and are after something far more sinister than just being named Best Band at Canterlot High. The Rainbooms call on Princess Twilight to restore harmony to their world to help them perform a musical counter-spell so that they can win a battle that now determines the fate of the entire school!

Here is the official trailer for My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks, along with a few other clips:

We went to see this at the theater yesterday and I have to say that I absolutely loved this movie! I was caught singing along by my daughter, so I think I liked it. The overall story line is great, the songs are catchy and the energy is uplifting and so fun. Without spoiling the movie, I wanted to tell you what it was about; cliff notes style. When a new group of friends move in to the school, they try to break everyone down with negativity and fights. The friendship that the Equestria Girls have and positive energy can’t be broken down and they prove it with them working together in a sticky situation.

We highly recommend going to see the My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks movie. Super cute and I bet you’ll leave with a huge smile on your faces!
