My Marshalls Experience

In November, I posted about the ever so fabulous
Marshalls Shoe Megashop. If you have not experienced shopping in a Marshalls, then you are truly missing out! I had another awesome opportunity to go to Marshalls in Omaha and had, yet again, another fabulous experience! We have done our holiday shopping for everyone, but we managed to forget all about what we would like to have for ourselves, so we took this opportunity and headed out for a family fun day.

What happens when you give a Marshalls Gift Card to a woman? You get a grin from ear to ear!

Our weather has been pretty wacky lately. We seem to be a part of this Arctic Freeze that is happening. Our roads are safe to drive on, but wow, there was a lot of ice and snow on the shoulders of the roads. I think the snow is beautiful, so I do not mind it at all.

Why did we go to Marshalls today? I was on a mission to find something to wear for Christmas day, but I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on clothes. I really wanted something that was ‘hip’ yet I didn’t want to fight the mall crowds. I found just what I was looking for at Marshalls!

We walked in the door and walah.. I swear I heard bells. ‘DING’ you are in the right place. That is what I could hear. Marshalls has so many things, for so many people!

Kambry was ready to roll in the cart today!

Here is my outfit that I ended up buying. Sweater, shirt and pants. All for right around $35.00!
Pardon the picture. It looks like a deflated person. LOL! The outfit is really cute and all name brand items, for a fraction of the cost!

White XCVI sweater: $10.00 (Compared at $40.00)
Red long sleeve Express shirt: $7.99 (Compared at $19.50)
The Limited Black Slacks: $16.99 (Compared at $30.00)
—————————————————————————————
Total cost of new outfit at Marshalls: $34.98 (Compared at $89.50)
Savings of $54.52

Here is a video showing our adventure today. I swear the Marshalls employees thought I was nuts. LOL

While we were there, we also picked up a hooded sweatshirt for hubby and a hat for me.
Kambry was trying out a hat that mommy was looking at.

We enjoyed our time out of the house today, but most of all, we enjoyed our shopping experience in Marshalls! We did not have to fight the ‘holiday crowds’ so this was a huge plus for us! We are not mall shoppers. Well, we go when we know the malls will not be crazy, and for us, we steer clear of them during the holiday rush. Marshalls was great! Parking was great! The prices were fabulous! Our shopping adventure was fabulous and we will be back many more times to come!
We had another wonderful adventure at Marshalls and we cannot wait to go back! The kids were beyond pooped. Can you tell?

If you have not had the pleasure of a Marshalls experience, you need one! Visit Marshalls Online to find a store in your area.
