Are you looking to lose weight? I AM! Bad me, I gained 10 pounds since April.
We grilled out a lot. Another weakness.
What are your plans to get fit after the holidays? Here are a few of my thoughts and ideas for myself and for our family. When one of us gets fit, the whole family participates. That really helps motivation!
- I cleaned out the pantry and tossed all junk food. Well, all unopened is in a box to be donated.
- When I go to get groceries, I go with a list and get what is on that list, only.
- When I am out shopping, I park in the parking spot that is furthest away.
- I have been menu planning weekly for our family.
- It IS ok to have a sweet treat – in moderation. Do not deny yourself. You will indulge if you deny.
- It is too cold/snowy out to walk or run out, so I have been walking more around the house, inside and started on the elliptical.
- Get active with your kids. Don’t be scared to get in the floor and act like a kid. Laughing burns more calories than you realize.
- Drinking more water. No sodas or alcohol.
- Hungry in between meals? I have been snacking on baby carrots.
- When I cook meals for my family, I take a small portion, set aside and freeze as a meal for me for later on.
What are some of your fitness goals? I would love to hear!
I wrote this in participation with Twittermoms while keeping my fingers crossed to win a copy of EA SPORTS Active™ Personal Trainer!

this does look neat and would be helpful for weightloss and getting in shape
