One Step Ahead: Dri Nights Waterproof Mattress Protector

header_logo1

I recently posted about the Dri Nights Bedwetter Pants from One Step Ahead, and since I am in the night time potty training mode with Tucker, I wanted to share another great product for those day, or night time potty training accidents that may happen from time to time with your little ones. Hey, it happens, so why not get products to help keep their bed dry from those accidents? One Step Ahead has a mattress protector called the Dri Nights Waterproof Mattress Protector. We have this on Tucker’s bed and it is, by far, the best mattress protector that we have tried out. It is soft, unlike a plastic feel and sound type that we were given way back when we first started potty training. I have seen some out there that are made like a trash bag and aren’t too comfortable to lie on and they tend to be a bit noisy from the material they are made of.

Dri Nights Waterproof Mattress Protector

Potty training? Bed wetting? Our saddle-style mattress protector makes clean-up easier and its more absorbant than others! No more changing the sheets at 2:00 a.m.! Simply place over the fitted sheet and tuck in the extra-long side flaps. It stays put, yet lifts off quickly when needed (buy 2, so you’ll have a replacement handy). Triple layered, with a soft, quilted top, absorbent core, and waterproof bottom. Choose Crib/Twin (34″ x 36″ pad) or Full (36″ x 54″ pad). Machine wash. Imported. Exclusively Ours!

Available in Crib/Twin Size & Full Size

  • Triple-layered for absorbency and protection:
  • o Top – soft, quilted, and highly absorbent
  • o Core – super-absorbent polyester quilted fiber batting
  • o Bottom shield – polyester mesh, with a vinyl waterproof coating
  • o Stays in place better than others, because we made each tuck-under flap 4″ longer. Fits even the thickest mattresses!
  • o Machine wash, tumble dry low

Beds, mattresses and bedding are not cheap to replace, so why not help protect the items that you have in your home and help ease your little ones’ mind about wetting the bed. Tucker gets upset when he wets the bed, so we just reassure him that it was an accident, and move on with the day. The Dri Nights Waterproof Mattress Protector was very easy to put on Tucker’s bed and a cinch to take off to clean. When the kids were smaller and in cribs, I always had crib mattress protectors, but I would layer a waterproof mattress protector, sheet, another waterproof mattress protector followed by another sheet. Why? This made changing beds so much faster and with the night time leaks from diapers, or from night time potty training, I would just pull the wet sheet and mattress protector off and then a clean set was ready to go. This made it to where I didn’t feel as if I was glued to the laundry all day, every day.

this is awesome, we had to get one for Sam since she wet at night until after she was three.

We bought something different with Sarah. It is like this plastic bag that you zip the entire mattress inside. Since she was obviously still in diapers when we switched her to the big bed we knew we needed a mattress protector for her. Now I leave it on her bed JUST in case she has an accident.

I defantely should get another one of these though for Sarah. more like for spilt milk LOL
