We bought something different with Sarah. It is like this plastic bag that you zip the entire mattress inside. Since she was obviously still in diapers when we switched her to the big bed we knew we needed a mattress protector for her. Now I leave it on her bed JUST in case she has an accident. I defantely should get another one of these though for Sarah. more like for spilt milk LOL this is awesome, we had to get one for Sam since she wet at night until after she was three.
