I love that the unit is fairly small and portable. My husband suffers from a lot of allergies. We can’t use air fresheners or candles because they’ll set him off. I gave up perfume and hair spray when we got married. I’d love to be able to take this from room to room, so we can scrub the air in each area.
We have three indoor cats and a wood stove which we use this time of year. My children joke about the amount of dust in our home. In fact, they get a kick out of writing their names in the dust on flat surfaces! My husband has allergies which cause his eyes to water and he sneezes alot. After reading the review for the Oreck ProShield Plus Air Purifier, I think this could really clean up the air in our home. I liked the fact that the air purifier cleans up the air in a 12′x18′ room twice every hour. This might put my feather duster out of business!

I actually have an Oreck Purifier so I can vouch for them, and I will say that I haven’t dusted my apartment in the 10 months we lived there and I haven’t dusted this house in the 18 months we’ve been here!! I love that I never have to replace the filter.

Ever since the hurricanes i keep telling my family we have a sick house because we get headaches a lot and the sneezey nose.
It pulls germs and odors and allergens out of the air and is whisper quiet so this would be great for my family, orange blossoms bother some of my family so we have to keep doors and windows closed at certain times of the year, with the oreck we could enjoy having fresh air again in our home instead of old stale air.
