I spent the majority of the afternoon yesterday organizing my workout area. I have my elliptical in our bedroom upstairs. We live in a 1900 home, so our closets and extra storage are a .. uh.. bit on the lacking side, so we have shelves, hooks for things, etc. I make the best of what we have and it works!
In the corner, I used a storage hanger that I bought at IKEA last summer. Seriously, IKEA is the best place to get home organization items. I went three times in one day in July. Hubby made fun of me.
It has 7 ‘bins’. The kids have these in their closets to organize the week’s outfits. I decided to use a hook screw and hang it in the corner just behind my elliptical. Each spot has a day’s worth of workout clothes. (2 complete outfits: top, hoodie & pants), and beside that is a shelf with my sauna attire on it. Works out great.

Our ceilings upstairs are slanted. Makes the house have old character – that’s what I say.
I also added 2 empty hooks on the arched ceiling so that I have a place to hang my sauna suit after workouts to air/dry out.
Now I am ready to workout and don’t have to shuffle through the dresser to get my workout outfit ready. They are all ready to go!

Good job T! I did the same thing in my closet. I have a smaller bin hanger and have all my workout pants in it and I usually jsut grab one of Pat’s t-shirts LOL.
