Our Holiday Taste of Sam’s Club Experience *$50.00 Giveaway* (Closed)

On Saturday, November 21st, my family and I had the fun experience of going to the Holiday Taste of Sam’s.

Holiday-Taste-of-Sams2

This was on the plan for our visit:

On Saturday, November 21st, you can go in and sample Frenched Rack of Lamb & Asparagus.

We ventured around the store… twice, and didn’t see these in the store. I was a bit disappointed in the tasting that was advertised, but we did have a fun time taste testing and getting ideas for our holiday.

[flashvideo filename="videos/samstasting.flv" width="420" height="320" /]

We were able to try some things such as

  • Green Bean Casserole
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Little Smokies
  • Honey BBQ Wings
  • Crab Cakes

While we were at Sam’s, we were able to walk around and not only shop and taste, but also take a look at some amazing deals that Sam’s has going on. We made out lists for what all we wanted to come back and get for family and friends, but also for ourselves and our home.

Yes, we did go. We weren’t that hungry so we didn’t try a lot. We did try a trail mix and something else that I cannot remember. I wish I had tried the crab cakes because they looked good. We were at Sam’s Club last night and they were giving out samples of the pumpkin pie. We were already there for the purpose of getting pumpkin pies and we bought 3 of them. We are taking 2 to my sister’s today for our family’s dinner and keeping the other one for ourselves. The bakery items at Sam’s Club are really good.

I went and I loved tasting everything. I think my favorite was the fresh cheeses. I am a sucker for cheese. I walked away with a huge block of double smoked cheddar..Yummy!
    Thank you

No, I didn’t get a chance to go. For my family’s holiday dinner, I’d love to make a nice spiral sliced ham. Sam’s price is right!

We didn’t make it to Sam’s as my son came down with the flu…but the tasting menu they advertised looked great. (Sorry to hear the story you went to didn’t have the full spread.)

We spend the holidays with our french family, so it’s full of great offerings — from traditional meat “pies” to fondues to a Yule Log cake served after midnight Mass. It’s all great fun… and the food is something we look forward to all year. :)

I’d LOVE to pick up a rack of Lamb that Sam’s carries for this year’s festivities. It’s one of my favorites, especially at the holidays.

We went last Friday, it was great to be able to sample some items before purchase. I especially like hams and cheese that they were sampling.

I didn’t make it out there. I would love to try an actual goose this holiday season. I’ve never had real goose before.
