We travel quite a bit; ranging from just across the town for a day out, or driving for hours to visit our family. While we are in the car, I don’t care too much to tote along the kids’ pillows with us. Pillows tend to get a big bulky. Why not bring something fun in to the kids’ pillows, something that is cute to look at, as well as something that services a purpose as a pillow and that isn’t huge and bulky? This is where Pillow Pets has come in to our lives and we have all grown to love them more on a daily basis!
ABOUT PILLOW PETS:
Since 2003, My Pillow Pets have been bringing smiles to faces of all ages. The concept for the snuggly companions was the brainchild of a San Diego-based mother of two, who had grown tired of picking up stuffed animals strewn about her children’s rooms. What began with the simple goal of transforming a traditional stuffed animal into a functional item for children has grown into an amazing jungle of popular products.
Although My Pillow Pets was initially a collection of just six different animals, our selections continues to multiply. My Pillow Pets is committed to manufacturing our products to superior standards, using only the highest quality materials and processes.
What we think:
We recently received the Patriotic Pup Pillow Pet. This is a beautiful and cozy Pillow Pet that also has a lot of meaning within it! I have a confession: this Pillow Pet is mine. All mine! What, adults aren’t allowed to have a Pillow Pet? Of course we are! We all share the Pillow Pet, but it’s so comfy, so cute and to me, the price of $19.95 for the regular pillow pet and $24.95 for the Patriotic Pup is a very nice price range and would make a great gift for anyone ranging from a baby to an adult.

I have never seen this Pillow Pet, so I was excited to see it in person. Not only is he a soft cuddly puppy and pillow, but with each Patriotic Pup that is sold ($24.95), you will get free shipping, plus $5.00 of the purchase goes to Scholarships for Military Children. How amazing is that?? I love companies that give back to our community, but to our military as well.
I have had to wash our Pillow Pet. I wasn’t sure how to wash him, but I thought back to when I was a kid and my mom used to wash my teddy bear – inside a pillow case. Thankfully we have a zippered pillow case that we just specifically to wash the kids plush animals, and Pillow Pet.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
If your Pillow Pet gets dirty and needs a washing here’s how to do it!.
- Place your Pillow Pet inside a white pillow case and tie off the open ends.
- Wash on gentle cycle and cold water.
- DO NOT PUT INTO DRYER!
- Let Pillow Pet air dry!
- Putting your Pillow Pet inside a white pillow case prevents the washing machine from beating up the fibers on the item and increases the life of your Pet.

Another Pillow Pet I like is Tardy Turtle!
I’m grateful for all the freedoms I have as an American, I know others don’t have as much rights as we do here.
I appreciate the fact we get to wear what we want & have the ability to say what we want…
My son, I am so proud of him & our other soldiers risking there lives for us!
We our very fortiniet to be so lucky! I wake up every mourning grateful for the freedom that we have!

I would love to have the duck one for my son, he loves ducks!
My brother, I am proud of him everyday! Fighting for our freedom & giving up his time to do so!
I like Tardy Turtle…he is a cutie.
My Dad is a WWII veteran and my Hubby is a Vietnam veteran.
They are both very proud of their service and I am thankful to them for preserving my freedoms.
I’m 26 and the mother of a 2 and half year old. I’m an army brat, my dad was in the Special Forces, and the 101st air borne. My grandfather was also in the army and fought in WWII.
My entire family is military, and I cry every time I think about how proud I am of them for defending our country, and our freedom. They really put their lives on us for everyday they are enlisted and I think a lot of people forget about that. I’m so grateful to come from a military family, and to be able to tell people, my family was willing to die for us all, that’s a big deal, and people need to remember to that. Without the military, our lives wouldn’t be anything like that what they are ow, times are hard, but it could always be worse.
My son has been begging for one of these pillow pet’s but with his medical issues it’s hard to afford anything, he was born with his intestines on the outside, and has had six surgeries, and still has a couple more coming up.
I also like the adorable Polar Bear
I appreciate American freedoms, lots of men & women fight everyday so we can enjoy these freedoms.
I appreciate my American Freedoms because so many people in our world do not have basic rights and freedoms that we as Americans take for granted. I am free to love who I choose, shop where I like, pray to my God and learn every day of my life.

I love that here in America things aren’t restricted for example how many babies you can have. It would just be horrible to only have the option to have one baby because of population laws.
I appreciate freedom that my children are able to have a free education. We could not afford private school and our girls love their school.
Am a disabled Vet from the Viet Nam era..served PROUDLY> and am very proud of Uncle who did 33years in the CORPS. He has passed away just a few years ago.. You know, I can see my second comment, but not my first one. so I will enter it again. If my initial one turns up – I hope you just erase it and don’t disqualify me. Not sure what happened!

I love american freedoms because they are so hard won – I actually answered both. I’m proud of my husband – after he fisnished serving in the Airforce he began contracting to the military – and has been for 15 years or so. He works on planes!
My little one has let me know he likes the frog, I love the ladybug! In the video – they show the woman putting the ladybug directly into the washer. I’m so glad to read your explanation on washing – I actually never did that for stuffed animals and they do come out a bit worse for the wear.
I will answer both – I love AMerican freedoms because they are so hard won. My husband was enlisted in the Air Force – and althugh he is not now in the some 15 or more years since has been contracted to the military. He takes care of the planes!

My dad served in the Navy during World War II but never saw action as the day that he completed basic training, was the day that World War II ended. He was just told to go home. I now live next to Fort Sill where artillery training takes place before they go to Iraq or Afghanistan. I also teach at the high school where all of the high school students on base attend high school. Probably a third of the staff and faculty have served in the military. When the troops arrive home, I would try to listen and find out what time they would be coming by the high school. If it was during the school day, I would take my students out to the curb, and everyone would hoop and hollar as they came by in the buses. We have a special Military Child Program to help those students who parents are deployed overseas. You may think that I am crazy, but whenever, I see people in a military hat or fatigues, I try to have the nerve to go up and thank them for their service. I can’t believe the smiles that come on their faces. I have been at the burial of former students and still have trouble keeping from tearing up when they come to say good-bye before being deployed. I have helped to rejoice when they come back safe. A young man in a nearby town was killed at Fort Hood. A nephew has never been the same since he came back from Iraq. I lived through the times when friends were drafted for Viet Nam service. I see what was a brand new Corvette still covered up next to the highway waiting for the young soldier who went to Viet Nam and never came back. I see the Patriot Motorcycle Riders who lead the procession at the funeral of any military hero when they come home to their final resting place. Our service men and women are true heroes to me. Their families back home are also the heroes that support them. I have nothing but love and respect for our service people. Because of them, I am able to live in a free country where I have opportunities that some people around the world can only dream of ever having. I truly appreciate my American Freedoms because I have been blessed to have known some of the men and women who make the sacrifice for me to have these freedoms. I pray for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Sorry about my ramblings, but this is something that hits very close to my heart.

I personally dont have any family members who are serving right now but my brother was in the Air Force during the Vietnam War- my Dad was in the Army during WWII and my son is joining the marines when he graduates high school.
And I am grateful every day for everyone who is serving or who has served our country- to fight for our right to agree or disagree with what they are fighting for. It makes no sense when I type it- but people like my brother fought for the people who were against the war and he fought so they could say they were against the war.
Anyway- I am grateful.
