I love my camera and take it just about everywhere with me. I use it for my blog reviews, as well as for my personal use with my kids, family and friends. Photography is with me at all times. Well, I had been using, and not liking, the strap that came with my camera, but I really wanted something more personal; something more like ‘me’. I found a company that makes the most beautiful and functional camera straps that I have ever seen; PhatStraps! I never thought about a camera strap that would be for me, customized, or never thought of them as ‘pretty’. PhatStraps has so many beautiful styles, colors and selection of fabric.

I chose the Ooh La Dot for my Nikon. When it arrived, I was giddy; literally! Oh my gosh – it is beautiful and so well made, and not to mention easy to hook on to my camera.

About PhatStraps:

We sell top quality camera straps that are fashionable and functional.
I use Heavy Polypropylene core for strength and durability. The poly core has a tensile strength(breaking point) of over 1200 lbs. All straps are covered with a cotton fabric and stitched onto the webbing. We add extra stitching in all the stress areas. All my straps have quick release buckles for a secure fit and a speedy release when needed. Please view Examples Here to help decide if the quick release is right for you. I offer all straps without the buckles if you so desire.

The strap lengths do not include the connectors that attach to the camera. Those will add up to 10 more inches. We include everything you need to attach our strap to your camera.

Our straps lengths are measured from end to end and include the male portion of the quick release buckle which is sewn onto the strap. Most of the strap length is the fabric covered portion and will not adjust shorter than the ordered length. A 40 inch strap will not adjust shorter than the 40 inches. The male buckle ends that are attached to the strap only account for 4 inches. So a 40 inch strap will have about 36 inches of the fabric covered portion and 4 inches will make up the male buckle ends that are attached (Keep in mind, there will be a few additional inches from the connectors). If you elect NOT to have the quick release, the fabric portion will still be 36 inches but I will add approx 12 inches of narrow nylon on each side to attach to your camera. The narrow nylon portion that attaches to your camera is 1/2 inch wide.

All my straps are warranted against defects and workmanship for 30 days. If you unhappy with your PhatStrap, please email us within 7 days of receipt and we work out an exchange or refund. All refunds will be minus shipping unless we are at fault. All returns must be in new unused condition. We DO NOT accept exchanges or returns on personalized or custom orders. Those sales are final.
