This summer has been a crazy busy one, to say the least. We made sure to make all that we could of this summer with plenty of family fun time. While we were in Texas to visit family, we made a stop at Six Flags Over Texas. We surprised another family by taking them with us. We made memories to last a lifetime by taking this trip. The kids had no idea that we were heading to Six Flags for the day. We told them just as we were pulling up and they saw roller coasters and rides.

We were so excited to us The Flash Pass. The low down about The Flash Pass is this is a device that you carry around and reserve your spot in line.
THE FLASH Pass: Starting from $40
- A Regular THE FLASH Pass allows you to enjoy your day at Six Flags by avoiding long lines at your favorite rides. With a Regular THE FLASH Pass, you wait as long as everyone else is waiting, but not in line—you can enjoy your free time elsewhere in the park.
- With a Gold THE FLASH Pass, you enjoy a significant reduction in wait time allowing you to ride more rides with less wait.
- Platinum THE FLASH Pass allows you to enjoy riding our rides with the least amount of waiting! Consecutive Riding allows you to WAIT ONCE and RIDE TWICE. Quantities are limited.
Our experience with The Flash Pass was simply amazing! We were able to reserve our spots in line at our favorite rides like Batman, Mr. Freeze, Roaring Rapids, Runaway Mountain (which we rode twice!) and more.
- BATMAN The Ride
- Chaparral Antique Cars
- El Asseradero
- La Vibora
- MR. FREEZE: Reverse Blast
- Roaring Rapids
- Runaway Mountain
- SUPERMAN: Tower of Power
- Yosemite Sam and the Gold River Adventure
The Flash Pass office is really cool! You go in, decide what package you want, if you want one person or a group (Regular, Gold, Platinum).
Anywhere that you see this Flash Pass sign, you can enter from ‘the back way’ of the line and go in pretty much before the people that have been standing in line at.
Some might think that $40 (regular) for The Flash Pass is expensive, but I can tell you that we were able to enjoy more family time together by having a Flash Pass with two people on it. That was worth it all in itself. We didn’t have to wait in hour long lines and we were able to reserve and walk right up to the ride that we wanted to ride… again, NO LINES! It was a perfect day with The Flash Pass and we’d highly recommend it to anyone that goes to a Six Flags.
Six Flags isn’t an adventure unless you stop to chat with the superhero’s.
My 7 year old surprised me by riding on his first roller coaster…. three times.
We went during the week, so there wasn’t too many people there when we arrived. The kids rode the Tea Cups over.. and over again.
Kambry was in awe when she rode her first roller coaster over in Looney Toon Land.
We were at Six Flags from the time they opened until around 7pm. We were there right at the mid-day heat, so the water misters were perfect for all of us to run through.
The kids got to meet cowboys while we were there.
The kids and I loved getting on top of the park when we rode the parachutes. Beautiful scene!

What is a trip to Six Flags without making a stop at the gift shop before you leave? The kids saw superhero capes and had to have them! For a theme park, I was surprised that the pricing in the shops were very reasonable.
