Rayovac’s Teachers Bring Science to Life Contest

276509When I was growing up and in school, my teachers were such inspirational people that I looked up to. I would have to say that my favorite teacher was my English teacher in the 10th grade. Not only did she teach her students about English and writing, but she was always there to lend an ear anytime her students needed to talk. I cannot tell you how many times I would go to her for advice on projects I was working on and even advice on boys. A teacher that is there for their students beyond the books and a teacher that wants to become friends with their students is one that is recognizable in my eye. I am married to a teacher, so I get to see more of the behind the scenes as to how hard our teachers work and what they do for our youth. He doesn’t just go to school and teach his students, he brings his work home with him many days. Teachers aren’t recognized as much as they should be. This is where Rayovac is here to help. Once again Rayovac is teaming up with Steve Spangler Science and his team of award-winning teachers to provide three educators entrance into Spangler’s hands-on science institute, Science in the Rockies, July 10-12, 2012.
